Emmett Rychner is only three-years-old, but he already has a ton of knowledge!
And a large part of that is thanks to his best bud! His bud's name is Erling Kindem and he just so happens to be an 89-year-old WWII veteran!
The two stuck up a friendship over the tomatoes that Erling grows in his yard last year, and the two have been close ever since!
Or at least that is how Emmett's father Bryan Rychner explained it. He said:
“Erling grew some tomatoes in his yard and Emmett would always ask him, ‘Got any matoes?’”
The two were soon tossing baseballs back and forth, have rode bikes together, and even race on lawn mowers! Although Emmett uses a toy one and not a real one!
The two's friendship even withstood the cold winters that Farmington, Minnesotam, all thanks to the 89-year-old veteran who used his snow plow to make sure the two buds could keep on visiting each other.
However Emmett's family is soon moving away because of their need for more space, and it's absolutely heartbreaking for Emmett's mother. Here's what Ankia Rychner said:
"I told him ahead of time there was going to be a 'for sale' sign in our yard. Then I went in the house and I cried for about an hour."
Erling Kindem will be moving soon, as well. But although we're sure tears will be coming for both Emmett and Erling, they still have a whole year to teach each other and create new memories before that happens!
And you can bet they're going to use that time very well!
Get ready to laugh and wipe the tears away as you watch this emotional video (below) !!!

According to an audience member, things turned ugly when Farrah interrupted Simon's "sorry," saying:
