Hero Shoppers Break Into A Hot Car After A Mother Locked Her Children Inside Of It!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooSad SadPerezcious Parenting

Some people probably just shouldn’t be parents. Luckily, this turned out to just be an awful mishap involving the car's keys.

After one horrible father left his child in the car, in the hot summer sun for seven hours, people everywhere are on high alert for any other kids who may tragically meet that same fate.

So, a group of people in Katy, Texas saw some kids crying in the car that their mother had left them in while she got her hair done (read the update on this BELOW). They started breaking the windows to try and rescue the little kids.

You have to see this story (above) because this won’t be the only time you hear about something like this. In places like Tennessee, it is now legal to break into a car where a child seems to be in distress because they were left locked inside!

It’s time to save the children!

UPDATE!!!!!

KHOU & their original report has now been updated, and needless to say… their report wasn't quite right.

In fact, it sounds like it was ALL WRONG!

We wondered why nobody would call the cops!

Apparently the mother had accidentally locked her keys in the car, screaming for someone to help. That's when bystanders stepped in to smash the window.

Regardless of the misinformation, these fellow shoppers ARE still heroes! Luckily it's being reported that at the end of the video (above), it's actually the mother climbing over the broken glass to get to her kiddos.

This just goes to show that while you might be filming something fantastic to send to the local news, you should probably be helping out instead — or at least finding out what's actually happening before sending it off. We hope everyone knows now that this was an accident, and that the outcome was as good as it could get!

What a horrible thing for her to do - doesn't she know better?

The Mom was asking for help- she accidentally locked her keys in the car after putting her kids in (they are clearly seen with her on a store security camera.) SHE asked someone to please break the window safely so her kids wouldn't get cut.

So, now that the real story has come out and this mom is not, in fact, a terrible mom, was not getting her hair done, made an honest mistake and immediately sought help to solve the problem, and there is VIDEO SURVEILLANCE EVIDENCE PROVING IT and the guy who said she was getting her hair done is suddenly not interested in being re-interviewed, and on on….

So, will you retract this story? Apologize? Or simply let it go on by with news reporting that amounts to slander? I wonder, will YOU have the courage to do the right thing?

Regardless of the excuse for leaving her children in a car in 90 degree weather (which everyone knows is an absolute no-no), this Mom should know better!!! It is on the National News constantly! And if she was just "asking for help" why was the car parked in a parking space-making it appear that she was not there to simply ask for assistance??? Thank God for the people who saved those children!

Re: Miss2u – Wow, so quick to pass judgment. READ THE FREAKING facts. Check out KHOU which basically retracted the original story. Or USA today online video that got it right finally. The "people that saved her kids" were HER. The mom climbed into the car. This is ridiculous. This mom ought to sue for slander. And the guy who claimed she was in the hair salon suddenly seems MIA. It's sad that we jump to conclusions - especially the media. I guess checking the facts doesn't matter anymore. Only a "holier than thou" attitude does.
