This is SO creepy!
An 18-year-old man named Kyle Ravenscroft was stalking a 16-year-girl and crept into her bedroom in Chester, England, and the most shocking part about this stalking story is that he received NO jail time!
The stalker broke into the teenage girl's home while her mother was home and spent the entire night there! During his sleepover he sent her a series of disturbing texts that included one where he said he was "standing in the grounds" of her house, another that said he "hoped she would wake up and find him hanging outside," another one that read "I'm in your house," and one that said "I'm watching you."
The teen was SO scared that she spent the night with her mother, and honestly didn't believe the stalker was inside her home until the next morning when she noticed something wrong inside her room!
Here's what the prosecutor of the case Rob Youd said happened next:
"She then noticed that all her shoe boxes, normally neatly lined-up, under her bed had been moved. She crouched down and saw him hiding under it. She said 'what are you doing under my bed?' and he said he had been asleep."
The mother then came in and the stalker quickly fled the room but not before stealing the teenager's cell phone.
The stalker's lawyer however helped his client get off without jail time by calling the incident a "massive wake up call" and since Mr. Ravenscroft had no previous criminal history - he was spared any time behind bars.
He will however receive a fine, mandatory hours of community service, and also probation. And of course he'll be slapped with a restraining order from the poor girl who he scared half to death.
We're scared just from hearing about this. We couldn't imagine going through such a thing!
