BET Issues An Apology To Beyonce And Jay Z After Karrueche Tran Pokes Fun At Blue Ivy's Hair! Someone Got Suspended Over It!

BET learned the hard way to not make jokes about Blue Ivy's hair!

It looks like BET and Karrueche Tran are learning the hard way that you do NOT mess with the Beyhive!

This weekend at the MTV VMAs, little baby Blue Ivy Carter absolutely stole the show when we saw her adorably dancing to momma Beyonce's Flawless performance!

But BET decided to poke fun at the heartwarming moment on a segment of 106 & Park called "Top 6 Things Blue Ivy Thought About The VMAs." The fuss all started when Karrueche made the joke:

"'I really did wake up like this because my parents never combed my hair.'"

After some uncomfortable giggles, Karruche apologized saying she has nothing but love for BIC! But it was too late, as the Beyhive was on the attack!!

Well president of music programming and specials Stephen G. Hill took to Twitter to offer an apology, saying:

Well that was nice of them to apologize considering they thought it would be funny to make fun of a 2-year-old on TV!

Unfortunately, the apology was NOT enough as one of the shows producers was SUSPENDED as a result of the tasteless joke!

So what's the moral of the story?? Don't make fun of toddlers!!

Apparently so many people out here wearing wigs and weaves that everyone forgot what real African American female hair really looks like. Of course she got a fro. She's black! It's beautiful, refreshing and she's quite cute. And I'm not even a fan of her parents. I just think comments about her hair are dumb. That's like when people call these women fat while they're pregnant. Don't make no sense. That's what they're supposed to look like and that's what this kid is supposed to look like. There's nothing even wrong with it.

It's not about the texture of the child's hair, it's that it was wild and untamed, I bet her mother would never go around looking like that, so why send your child out like that.
Especially when the mother spends a fortune on Caucasian hair for herself.

Poor Blue Ivy's hairs … When in the same time, these little girls for which the movement Bring back our girls was created, are still raped by these Muslim men… US citizens have their priorities in the right place… America! America!

Moral of the story: Don't poke fun at a black woman's natural hair. Everyone's hair is beautiful! And forcing white-washed beauty expectations on a toddler about her hair is NOT okay.

Re: char – bitch i would knock your fucking teeth out if i could. what makes u think its untamed? just because its an afro. u racist ass hoe. wtf u think Beyonce is gonna put a weave in her daughters hair? beyonce didnt start wearing weave until she was 18. blue is 2 go fuck urself with that comment

Re: MizzBoobBoo – Oh MY you are a very ignorant and hostile person. Calm down, I'm betting beyonce does not even know you and you are willing to fight, and your language!!!!! I'm guessing ……GHETTO?

Was it live or did they let it go out taped? I don't like that anyone's game these days. Crap like this happens. Let little kids be little kids, or make sure the segment's cute.

I feel sorry for this kid. It's got an ugly name and he/she unfortunately got Jay Zs face. poor thing. Could've looked like beyonce, instead looks like gross jay z

She's adorable and so is her hair. People who make fun of children are bottom of the barrel.

i agree this was not a good look. i've seen a lot of black women pull off the untamed afro and look good doin' it. on a small child it just looks like a big old mess.

Char, her comments may be perceived as hostile, but the only ignorance here is yours. You provoke at the expense of a toddlers appearance and then continue to attack others coming to an innocent child's defense. Shameful. Re: char

But it would be funny if it was someone else's kid right? Suspending someone from their job over this? SMH….

Nailed it! Forget the hair, poor bub has the face of Jay-Z. If he can't pull it off, how can a little girl! 😜
