Brie covers the latest issue of Vanity Fair and discusses how her friendship with Emma and Jen has brought her so much joy in the often difficult and cutthroat world of Hollywood. She first explained how the three came together, saying:
"Emma wrote this beautiful e-mail out of nowhere, and then one day Jen sent me a text message after she saw Room, and we started talking."
How sweet! Ladies helping ladies! That's how it's done!
"Harry feels for Meghan partly because she's so open, and has that American attitude of saying, 'Let's talk about our feelings.' He comes from such a stiff-upper-lip culture, but Meghan helped him open up."
That, or it was the 32-year-old's involvement with the mental health charity Heads Together that prompted him to talk about his own issues. Maybe both? Hmm.
Just when we thought it was smooth sailing for the company, a United plane had a "terrifying" emergency landing after one of its engines blew out over the ocean on Monday!
According to Jody Genessy, one of the passengers on the Houston, Texas bound flight, the plane "about crashed in an emergency landing" after one of the engines on the Boeing 737-800 overheated not long after they departed the airport in Liberia, Costa Rica.
The late night host announced the news via a HIGHlariousSkype conversation with the former One Direction singer. As revealed in the video (below), for the week of May 15, Mr. Styles will be "crashing" on the Late Late Show couch. LOVES it.
Obviously, this gig coincides with the release of the A-lister's self-titled album (and first solo project) which comes out on May 12. Be sure to ch-ch-check out Corden and Styles' exciting announcement for yourself (below)!
The case of Aaron Hernandez's suicide just keeps getting more complicated.
Shortly after his death on April 19, several inmates told authorities the former New England Patriot might have been high on synthetic marijuana.
According to law enforcement sources speaking to Newsweek, the autopsy did indeed show traces of K2.
Subsequently, State Police did a thorough search of the entire Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center on Monday, looking the liquid marijuana, which can be smuggled into prison soaked into scraps of paper or letters.
Department of Corrections sources point out how unusual it is for State Troopers to come in and perform a search inside a prison; Internal Affairs were even involved, leading many to believe a bigger investigation into Hernandez's death and the prison itself is going on.
One thing investigators already found that wasn't on the up-and-up? It seems a corrections officer missed a round of surveillance at 2 a.m. — and Hernandez was found dead at 3:03 a.m. That officer has since been "detached with pay." Hmmm…
The prison is reportedly on lockdown as the investigation continues.
But apparently there is more evidence proving that the former New England Patriots player did have a very close relationship with fellow convict Kyle Kennedy (above), who was reportedly the last person to see him alive.
According to a new DailyMail.com report, the family of the 22-year-old inmate (who is serving 3 to 5 years for armed robbery) received a $50,000 watch from Hernandez the day before he hanged himself in his cell last Wednesday.
