Why are we not surprised by this?

Stanford Rapist Brock Turner is currently public enemy No. 1 after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in January 2015, but if you thought his original sentence of six months was too light… prepare to get even more upset with the case.

That's because after it was reported that the 20-year-old will likely only serve three months of his punishment, new evidence has surfaced that shows he lied to courts about his hard-pAArtying history.

Apparently, the convicted felon initially painted himself as an "inexperienced drinker and party goer" to his probation officers while trying to blame his crime on Stanford's "college lifestyle."

But prosecutors on the case have issued a sentencing memo in regards to Brock's past, which not only proves that the swimmer was familiar with alcohol… he was also well-versed in drugs like ecstasy, acid, and marijuana:

The Recovery Without Walls practice consultant remembered how he felt when he dialed 911, writing:

"Believe me, nothing can prepare a person to walk into such chaos and sadness. As I told the 911 dispatcher on April 21, those on the scene were distraught, which was why I was the one to place the call. But what happened has made me think, long and hard, about what steps we must take to prevent such entirely unnecessary loss of life."

His father, Dr. Howard Kornfeld, was scheduled to fly out to help the singer through his struggle with opioid addiction, but the hitmaker passed away the day before they were supposed to meet.

And while police are investigating the way in which the songsmith was able to obtain the fatal drugs that took his life, Andrew admitted that people who deal with chronic pain will do anything to "escape the agony," adding:

Prince's death calls for opiate reform.

According to TMZ, members of the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice met on Saturday and came to the conclusion that prescriptions for opiates are "out of control."

Board members called for stricter regulations and better supervision of doctors who give out painkiller prescriptions.

Although Prince was not mentioned by name, a member did acknowledge that his death had incited a closer look at the problem.

Some board members also concluded that doctors have been relying on opiate prescriptions instead of figuring out less dangerous ways to treat chronic pain conditions that won't result in death.

We'll keep you posted as more information on this reform becomes available.
