Remember when people said they thought John McCain was too old to be president? They may have been right!
While he was supposed to be endorsing Mitt Romney for the Republican presidential candidacy at a rally in South Carolina, the senator told the conservative crowd he is confident President Obama will turn this country around.
It takes a few seconds to sink in, but Mitt casually steps in to remind old John what he was supposed to say.
"Me! You're supposed to say me you stupid old fart!" LOLz!
Just kidding! He didn't say that, but we bet he wanted to. This is one of the best political bloopers we've ever seen and maybe even…a Freudian slip?
Check out the video above and slap this on your favorite Republican's Facebook wall!
This may be on ominous sign for poor Mr. Romney!
Way to go, ladies.
Cindy McCain and daughter Meghan McCain have lent their support to the NOH8 campaign yet again by posing together in a new ad.
We've always been super impressed with Meghan AND Cindy's work for gay rights. Now, if only John McCain could join the cause….
That would be such a huge milestone.
Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin and Ed Harris as John McCain are truly uncanny!
Check out the newly released teaser (above) for HBO's Game Change, which revolves around the 2008 election.
We will DEFINITELY be checking this one out! Looks like it should be fascinating! And we STILL can't get over how impressive Julianne's Palin is! Wowsa!!!!
What do U think? Will U watch Game Change when it premieres this March???
Earlier this month, we were excited to learn that
Tina Fey Julianne Moore had signed on to play Sarah Palin in HBO Films' upcoming adaptation of the best selling book Game Change by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin.
Now, we've learned about another addition to the cast of the film based on the 2008 general election: Ed Harris as John McCain!
This took us a minute to process, but now we're thinking he's a great choice!
We're not sure who else would have been good for this part…unless they could get John McCain to play himself! He's been pret-ty amusing on SNL, so maybe that could have worked? Ha!
We think Ed will do a great job, though. After his performances in films like Gone Baby Gone, A History of Violence,
The Rock, and A Beautiful Mind, we're more than confident in his acting abilities.
Do U think Ed Harris is a good choice for John McCain?

Although he was once against the repeal, Sen. John McCain believes that Don't Ask, Don't Tell will work - especially because he is helping implement the repeal!
"I think I have to do everything I can to make sure that the impact on the morale, retention, recruitment and battle effectiveness of the military is minimized as much as possible. It is a law and I have to do whatever I can to help the men and women who are serving, particularly in combat, cope with this new situation. I will do everything I can to make it work."
Oh boy! It may be okay now, but he was dragging his feet the entire way!

Ha! Once again, bravo, Jon Stewart!
The Daily Show host is none too pleased with John McCain's wife Cindy's flip-flopping on the subject of the repeal of the RIDICULOUS 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy, and took the opportunity to slam the senator and his lady friend last night in a HIGHlarious segment he calls "It Gets Worse!"
We couldn't have said it better ourselves!
