What a horrible week for Katy Perry!

In addition to having "tough conversations" with Capitol Music Group CEO and Chairman Steve Barnett, the Teenage Dream singer is reportedly "always late" to the set of American Idol!

Sadly, the 33-year-old is involved in another controversy, where she is being accused of stealing an artist's work!

On Wednesday, Dom Sebastian shared a post on Instagram saying the Santa Barbara-native flat out stole his 2012 artwork, and used it for the single cover of Chained To The Rhythm, the Hot Chip remix.

To make matters worse, Miz Perry is allegedly trying to profit off of Sebastian's piece by selling it as a $35 print.

The artist wrote:

"@katyperry has stolen my artwork (this piece is from 2012) and used it on her single cover - I was never contacted by her or anyone from her team or label @capitolrecords. What's more is that Katy has been selling my artwork as her own, as merchandise on her store, and through other outlets, as a $35 print. I'm shocked that @katyperry and @capitolrecords think it is acceptable to lift my work directly from my website and use it as they please without paying me or even contacting me. #exposed"

While the show's producers have been annoyed with the hitmaker's tardiness (probably because they shelled out $25 million for her to be there), it's said fellow judges

Although Witness has sold 840,000 copies worldwide, the LP failed to really resonate with fans. While some may be baffled to learn that Perry's new work hasn't taken off, Barnett isn't shocked one bit. In fact, he seems to know EXACTLY why the 33-year-old's music has fallen flat.

Like it or not, American Idol didn't get revived to make fun of people!

Aside from (occasionally) gifting the world the next musical superstar, the series was famous for rounds of auditions that highlighted the standout talent — which included the good, the bad, and the William Hungs.

But producers behind the 2018 revival have issued one big caution to fans: don't expect any so-bad-it's-hilarious auditions this time around!

Speaking at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour on Monday, showrunner Trish Kinane made it clear the show would not be mocking bad singers like it so famously had in the earlier seasons. She explained:
