Kelly Clarkson is getting married, and she wants the world to know it!

With her new single, Tie It Up, it seems this pop-crooner is seriously hearing them wedding bellzzz! Here are just a couple lines from the song:

"Let's set the date/let's hire a band/let's cut the cake/tie up the cans… I love the ring of your name/you're the ying to my yang/oh baby let's give it a shot."

What’s more, this might be Kelly’s most country-sounding track yet. Guess she’s sticking to her roots!

Just when Kelly Clarkson finally found the love of her life, she up and loses the ring!

While onstage at the CMA Music Festival, Kelly realized she wasn't wearing her engagement ring! The always honest Kelly quickly apologized to fiancé Brandon Blackstock, saying she had no idea where it had gone!

Happily, Kelly won't have to put this picture on a milk carton just yet. She tweeted the next day:

After a season of unacceptably low ratings, Fox is hellbent on reviving American Idol!!

Unfortunately, according to one source, that means canning executive producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick!

Both men helped produce AI's inaugural season in 2002, but a decade worth of dedication isn't worth much in the high-stakes world of network TV programming!

Especially when viewership is at an all-time LOW!

That's the lucrative game producers sign up for, though! If they preferred hugs and ice cream sandwiches to pink slips, they could've gotten a degree in continental philosophy!

So, Nigel and Ken are now jobless!!

Three of the show's judges departed, too, with the fourth — Keith Urban — reportedly still on his way out.

Even Fox's alternative programming guru Mike Darnell was shown the door!

Oh man, having the ORIGINAL American Idol return as an AI judge would have MADE season 13! Sigh.

Rumors have raged concerning the identifies of next season's American Idol judges ever since news broke that NONE of the current judges will be invited back…

And we were THRILLED to hear that Kelly Clarkson, along with former AI contestants Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson, are all in talks to fill the vacant spots.

But unfortunately, it seems the the beautiful belter will NOT be returning to the show that launched her career, as her rep has DENIED her involvement.

However, thank the AI lordz, cause J-Hud has been CONFIRMED as a judge for season 13! Huzzah!

And IF they secure Adam Lambert and other former AI participants, perhaps the throwback hiring will be enough to save the show from cancellation.

Fingers crossed!
