The LGBT community was rightfully upset about this movie as it A) had a cisgender actor playing a role which could've gone to an actual trans woman and B) had Michelle's character undergo a FORCED sex-reassignment surgery, which makes it seem like the procedure is a punishment. Tsk, tsk!

Sadly, another film that portrays a trans character is coming out, and people are NOT happy.
In the new film (Re) Assignment, Michelle Rodriguez plays a male assassin who turns into a woman by a rogue doctor.
