Miguel recently said in an interview that his music is better than Frank Ocean's.
And, you know….
We agree with him!
His new album is MAJOR!!!!!!
We have it on replay! And nonstop!
One standout track is The Valley, which is NSFW but definitely appropriate for babymaking - or just fun!
"I wanna f*ck like we're filming in the Valley," he sings.
And, yes, this is Prince 2015 - and that's a wonderful thing!
Prince was major! And so is Miguel!

Them's fighting words!
Alternative R&B isn't necessarily the place for rivalries, but every once in a while someone steps up to the plate to talk a little trash!
Miguel just released his new album Wildheart last week and he's already making sure people know the difference between him and the often compared Frank Ocean.

Since the two each hit the scene, there have been several comparisons in style between Miguel and Ocean and it only fueled Miguel more when he lost out on a Grammy to Ocean back in 2013.
Miguel mentioned his relationship with Ocean by saying,
To Miguel, there's no such thing as too much information.
The singer opened up to Hot 97 during an interview where he was supposed to be promoting his new music and upcoming album, Wildheart, but he quickly shifted subjects to some of his wild nights, instead.

Miguel didn't skirt around the sex subject, and just dived right into the NSFW threesome talk:
"I honestly believe that if a woman is comfortable with you—women find other women beautiful. And so if they're so solid with you, they just might be open-minded on that rare night."
He continued to say that threesomes are "really, really fun," but even he needs a little lovin'. Now that he's 29, he hints that maybe meaningless sex just isn't enough anymore:
As much as he wants to, Miguel will probably never forget his performance at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards.
Why? Well, he's gotten a lot of grief over the years about it — who could forget his memorable yet disastrous jump that reportedly injured two women??

It's been two years since the incident, and while the first woman, Khyati Shah, almost filed a lawsuit against the singer, she ended up not pursuing it.
However, the other lady — who claimed to have also been injured by the 29-year-old singer — is
It's no surprise that John Legend is a brilliant songwriter.
The singer is not only a nine-time Grammy winner, but he and Common also took home the Oscar for Best Song for Glory from the movie Selma!
Now, it looks like the 36-year-old will be producing an untitled musical-romantic drama that's set to star Grammy-winning artist Miguel!

The story follows a former one-hit wonder who is hired to coach an aspiring singer auditioning for a singing competition show. During this journey, he regains the love and passion he lost for music due to his dwindled career.
The story will be told mostly through music, and is expected to start production in Philadelphia.
There's a good chance Legend will be writing some of the music for the film since he is a longtime friend and collaborator with Nabil Elderkin, who is set to direct the flick.
Hmmm, a once famous star who reignites the flame of his lost career? Could this end up being a musical version of Birdman? We see you, Oscars!

Major swoonage alert! We repeat: MAJOR SWOONAGE ALERT!
Miguel, everyone's favorite romantic R&B crooner, has dropped three BRAND NEW SONGS and they're pretty freakin' fantastic.
The songs, nwa ft. Kurupt, coffee, and hollywooddream, are the first new tracks since he released Kaleidoscope Dreams back in 2012!

Though, he did put in some work with Lorde on the Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 soundtrack, but that doesn't really count. (Just kidding it totally does)
But the three-song EP is proof (hopefully) that Miguel has his eyes set on a bigger album coming out soon.
How soon, we may never know, but for now, you'll have these three songs to play on repeat to tide you over.
