We like to throw every party like it's the most fabulous one ever, but this year, with the birth of our bouncing baby boy, it really was!!!

Saturday was a milestone birthday for us and we spent the entire evening in our pajamas at the El Rey with our closest friends and family!!

We are simply honored and blessed to have so many ah-mazing people in our lives! In fact, all this reminiscing is getting us misty-eyed right now!!

Thankfully, we took tons of pics and video to go with our fond memories which will indeed last a lifetime!!

Our time in Peru has come to an end.

It is bittersweet!

We have had a very full and special week and a half here!

We experienced the magic of Machu Picchu. The history of Cusco and the surrounding areas. We got lots of nature in Lake Titicaca. And we saw the opposite of everything we'd experienced until then when we visited the very modern and lovely Lima.

If you haven't come yet, you MUST visit Peru. It's safe. It's enriching. It's fun! Oh, and the food is AMAZING!

We definitely hope to be back!!!

Less than 1% of the world's population get to experience Machu Picchu! The iconic global landmark only allows 2,500 people in daily. We are lucky and appreciative and in awe of it all!

Machu Picchu - which in Quechua means old mountain - was everything we hoped it would be! And MORE!

The space itself is so impressive. The vastness of it all! How much it was preserved!

Building a city way up in the mountains is no easy task, but the Incas did it hundreds and hundreds of years ago. And quite beautifully!

Everything has a purpose!

Those Incas were so smart!

And the Peruvian landscape itself. Those mountains! TRULY BREATHTAKING!!!! A once-in-a-lifetime experience!!!

Magical! Spiritual! Scrumptious!

We are slowly making our way to Machu Pichu and have been exploring the areas around the sacred valley of the Incas.

So much history! We love hearing it all - and SEEING it!

We can't recommend enough coming here! Thankfully we still have quite a few days left!
