When you go outside wanting to capture lightning on camera, there's a more than slight chance you could get struck by it…
So when daredevil weather enthusiast Robb Montejano decided to walk across an open field wielding a camera phone, he knew the risk involved!
In the YouTube video before the strike, you can hear the man say:
"Just on the off-chance that I can catch lightning on film during the daytime, it would be really cool. But I don't know if it's gonna happen. I'll give it a minute here. But it would be really, really cool to see."
Then, BANG! The camera goes black and you know the shocking results…
After firefighters and paramedics responded to the call and made sure he was okay, Robb revealed his would-be brush with death was simply indescribable:
"I just felt this surge of electricity go 'boom' through my body. The electricity flowing through my body. I can't describe it. It was amazing."

That’s two for two.
Last month, one of the girls in the case of the Slender Man stabbings was ruled not competent to take the stand at trial. On Friday, the second defendant, Morgan Geyser, was also found to be not competent, after two evaluations.
Both 12-year-old Wisconsin girls are charged with first degree attempted murder after they stabbed their friend 19 times to please the fictional character Slender Man.

Who says Friday the 13th is unlucky?
That was NOT the case for Kelsey Zachow from Port Huron, Michigan!!
The 24-year-old single mother guessed the right numbers for the winning ticket for a huge $66 million Mega Millions jackpot, and she bought the ticket on that supposedly unlucky day back in June.
And the funny thing was it took her ten days to realize she was a millionaire!
This past Saturday Zachow finally collected her prize - which after taxes comes out to about $27 million - and she explained how her purse was filled with lottery tickets which hampered her ability to realize she had won.
Here's what happened when a store clerk finally broke the good news to her! She said in a statement:

The other flight, a Tiger Airways plane, was at fault, but still, bracing for lift off only to have the plane slam on its brakes instead must be a pretty terrifying experience!
The Aviation Herald explains:
We thought the most dangerous thing in the ocean was a shark… but as it turns out, it might be bacteria!
Health officials in Florida say a strain of Vibrio vulnificus is to blame for sending dozens of beach-goers to the hospital this summer, with 10 people dying from their infections so far.
This bacteria is very similar to cholera and thrives in the warm salt waters off the Florida coast.
“OMG. I think I’m being kidnapped.”
That was the last text 14-year-old April Millsap ever sent her boyfriend. The ominous message now serves as a clue for cops in Armada, Michigan who are investigating April’s mysterious murder.
The recent middle school grad was walking her dog along Macomb Orchard Trail last week when police say she was attacked and killed by a still unknown suspect. Hours later, a couple walking along the wooded path came across
