We smell a new squad in our midst!
However, it appears the epic collaborative performance gave an even cooler gift in the form of new best friends, Blue Ivy Carter and Apple Martin.
For the snap, the Oscar winner wrote:
No Sookie for you, Gilmore Girls fans!
We had a tiny glimmer of hope that Melissa McCarthy might make a small cameo in the Gilmore Girls revival — but now that hope is dead!
In a recent interview, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said they would "write her a scene" if the Spy star had any free time available from her busy filming schedule.
Sherman-Palladino reportedly told Melissa's team that the production would "put her right in" a scene if she were to drop by when she was available.

Though some of the original castmates won't be returning for the four-part Netflix miniseries, series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is willing to pull some strings for one former cast member turned movie star — Melissa McCarthy!

John Stamos revealed that he reached out to the famous sisters in hopes they would reprise the role that shot them to super stardom, but explained that they "don't consider themselves actresses" anymore.
But according to executive producer Bob Boyett, the 29-year-olds aren't returning to the spinoff series for a few different reasons!
Speaking to People, Boyett explained:

The 52-year-old recently went on Howard Stern where he opened up about Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen's notable absence from the reboot, explaining the famous twins "don't consider themselves actresses" anymore.
But the actor still managed to throw some thinly-veiled shade when plugging the show, telling Jimmy Fallon with a grin:
