But apparently that is NOT the case when it comes to M.I.A.!!!
The singer mentioned her gripes during an interview about her very first album Arular which is celebrating its tenth year anniversary this year.
Apparently the two met in 2009 but M.I.A. claims Oprah was anything but nice to her!

Oprah Winfrey is set to shut down Harpo Studios in Chicago, which has been operating for 26 years and employs roughly 200 people.

However, only a few will be joining OWN's LA staff when the historic Chicago studio closes its doors in December.
While Oprah broke the news to her Chicago employees herself on Tuesday, she also acknowledged in recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter that she'd be sad to say goodbye, but it was time to consolidate staff.
It will truly be an end of an era.
So it turns out Terrence Howard's super awkward job as a presenter at the 2015 Oscars was NOT a teleprompter mistake as we assumed.
Unless you count trying to memorize your speech instead of using the teleprompter as a mistake!
