Sacha Baron Cohen is grieving the loss of his father Gerald Baron Cohen, who passed away at the age of 83 on Tuesday.
According to reports, the businessman died at his London home surrounded by family following a "short illness."

The 44-year-old actor was extremely close to his father, who often attended many Hollywood events with his famous son and daughter-in-law Isla Fisher.

On Tuesday, it was revealed that someone made a call to the Carver County Sheriff's Department several years ago because they were concerned about the Purple Rain singer's cocaine habits. WHAT?
According to TMZ, the newly released records show that the call was placed by a woman on June 20, 2011 who shared that Prince had told her in Germany a year prior that he could not "control his habit." Wow.

Apparently, the cops discussed the concerning phone call amongst themselves and informed the woman that they had decided
What a tragic end to an already sad tale.
Catfish is supposed to be a show about bringing star-crossed couples together, but unfortunately not every love story gets a happy ending.
It's with a heavy heart we must report that Ashley Sawyer, a participant on the MTV show from back in Season Two, was found dead at age 23 on Monday.

Ashley's cause of death is not currently known, but fans will remember her as the subject who realized she and her love interest Michael Fortunato were both "catfishing" each other.
What makes this news even sadder, however, is that Michael actually passed away from a pulmonary embolism at age 26 just a month after their episode aired in 2013.
Hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph each took to social media on Monday night to honor Ashley's memory, saying:
Afeni Shakur, a longtime political activist and mother of the late rap legend Tupac, has tragically passed away at the age of 69.
According to the Marin County Sheriff's Office in Sausalito, CA, police responded to a report of cardiac arrest at Shakur's home around 9:43 p.m. and transported her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead not even an hour later.

As we told you in March, Afeni recently filed for divorce from her husband of 12 years, who was supposedly gunning for half of her son's estate. Yikes!
Authorities say a coroner will investigate the exact cause of death, but for now it seems to be an apparent heart attack.
