San Diego Comic-Con has once again brought joy to movie and TV nerds everywhere with a week of cosplay, fan service, and earth-shattering entertainment news.

Even if you're not a fan of superhero movies or Game of Thrones (*gasp*… mutiny!), the convention blessed us with new looks at hotly-anticipated productions in pretty much every genre!

You may have already laid eyes on trailers for Justice League, Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, The Walking Dead Season 8, American Horror Story: Cult, and Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie — but that's just the beginning!

The first looks and trailers are out in force at Comic-Con today!

We just got our first look at Ready Player One (above), and we can tell that it is going to be AH-Mazing!!!

Set is a miserable futuristic world where people can escape into a virtual reality filled with 1980s and 1990s pop culture references, and directed by Steven Spielberg as an adaptation of the best-selling novel from Ernest Cline.

Ready Player One looks thrilling, heart-pumping, and action-packed all rolled up in one!!!

We love it!

Wow! We knew we were going to see Dunkirk to judge Harry Styles as an actor, but it looks like we may have to watch it as the first definite Oscar contender of 2017!

So far, almost all the reviews of Christopher Nolan's WWII epic have been glowing — some of the best of the year!

We are seriously getting hyped…

BTW, Harry only appears about as much in the reviews as he does in the trailer, but it's all good things. He's been called "solid" and a "confident screen debut."

Director Rupert Sanders Says His Affair With Kristen Stewart Was A Byproduct Of Making 'Art'…

You can't produce real art without making a few mistakes along the way…

That's what filmmaker Rupert Sanders wants you to know about his highly-publicized affair with Kristen Stewart in 2012.

At the time, the director was married to Liberty Ross while Stewart, who starred in his film Snow White and the Huntsman, was dating Robert Pattinson.

Soon after photos of the two caught kissing went public, Sanders issued a public apology to his wife of 11 years and their two young children.

But now that the icy tabloid blizzard has melted, the Ghost and the Shell director isn't quite as apologetic for his past indiscretions.

While promoting his new action film — which is entangled in controversy all its own — Sanders was asked what he'd learned from the affair, and put it bluntly for the U.K.'s Metro:

Smash Creator Says Hollywood Sexism Got Her Fired — And Shades The Male Replacement Who Let The Show Die!

Misogyny is responsible for countless issues in today's society — one of them being the downfall of NBC's Smash.

Theresa Rebeck, creator of the short lived Broadway series, dished on the rampant sexism that churns through many television writers' rooms where your favorite shows are made.

In a personal essay featured in a new book Double Blind: Women on Ambition (as excerpted by EW), the showrunner detailed how she created, wrote, and ran the room in Season One — at the request of exec producer Steven Spielberg, no less — before suddenly getting fired from the show SHE created.

Rebeck recounts getting "fired without cause" at the end of Season One, and shortly learned that many "dastardly stories" about her character had been invented by those who wanted her gone.

After the male writers who "conspired" to have her fired realized the show wouldn't last without the mastermind at the helm, they flew the coop and pursued other opportunities — leaving the network to hire a new team of creatives.

Rebeck recalls her showrunner replacement, Gossip Girl alum Josh Safran, being particularly unqualified — and ultimately responsible for the show's cancellation after Season Two. She wrote:
