We totally felt the love at the 2016 Oscars!

Many jubilant stars smiled their way through Sunday night's Academy Awards, but no one was smiling more than the winners of the night!

And while not everyone was lucky enough to take home Oscar gold, being thanked in an award winner's speech is almost just as big of an honor!

Making movies is a collaborative experience, and no award is earned without the help of a director, costar, or the support of a loved one.

Eddie Redmayne may not have won Best Lead Actor for his role in The Danish Girl, but at least he got a shoutout in Alicia Vikander's speech when she won Best Supporting Actress!

Ch-ch-check out the best GIF reactions of those who were thanked by the night's biggest winners (below)!

Congratulations are in order for Alejandro González Iñárritu!

On Sunday, the 52-year-old was named Best Director at the 2016 BAFTA Awards for his work on The Revenant. The acclaimed director took the stage at the Royal Opera House to accept the honor!

Iñárritu gave an incredible speech as he dedicated the award to his wife ahead of their 20th anniversary and thanked everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy, to the rest of the cast and crew who worked on The Revenant!

Alejandro took the award home over fellow filmmakers Adam McKay (The Big Short), Steven Spielberg (Bridge of Spies), Todd Haynes (Carol), and Ridley Scott (The Martian), so clearly the competition was SUPER stiff!

And even though those incredible artists didn't take home this trophy, they definitely made some memorable movies! Ch-ch-check out Alejandro's full speech (above)!

BAFTA Awards 2016: Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw walk the red carpet.

Couple goals!

Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw reminded us that love does indeed endure sometimes in Hollywood on this romantic St. Valentine's Day.

The twosome were stylish together on the BAFTA Awards red carpet, especially Steven in a very dapper-looking tux.

His wife was completely on-trend in a black jumpsuit and a fur coat stolen from Kris Jenner's closet, probably.

Aren't they so cute together?
