The Fate Of The Furious Smacks Down All Box Office Challengers — And Officially Joins The Billion Dollar Club!

Let's be real. The Fate Of The Furious had no real competition at the box office this weekend.

F8 was #1 for another weekend with a decent $19.4 million take, laughing off new comedy How To Be A Latin Lover, which at second place made only $12 mil. So far the souped up sequel has made $192.7 mil domestic, crossing the $1 billion worldwide this week.

Though this week's The Circle spun down the drain at #4 with only #9.3 mil in its opening weekend, Emma Watson can still boast the only other billion dollar club member this year, Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

But where do they currently rank among the other 28 flicks that have ruled the worldwide box office? See the entire list (below)!

Vin Diesel Defends His Lip-Locking Skills After Charlize Theron Shaded Their On-Screen Kiss!

vin diesel defends fast 8 kissing scene

This is awkward on so many levels.

As you may know, Vin Diesel and Charlize Theron aren't exactly on the same page when it comes to their aggressive kiss in their movie, The Fate of the Furious.

In case you haven't seen the flick, the Oscar winner plays a villain in the action movie who convinces Vin's character to turn against the Fast family, and the kiss in question happens when she forces it onto the 49-year-old.

So here's where the disagreement comes in…

Earlier in the month, Diesel was going around bragging about the EPIC kiss the two share onscreen. However, not long after the A-lister's sentiments made headlines, Charlize stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' show and revealed that she thought the lip-locking moment was awkward AF!

The blonde stunner said kissing the Hollywood hunk was like touching lips with a dead fish. Ouch!

Obviously, Ellen had to give Vin a chance to defend himself when he popped by for a sit down on Tuesday.

Be sure to ch-ch-check out what he had to say on this situation for yourself (below)!

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Is The Same Record As Vol. 1 — But Still Outta This World! Read The Review Roundup!

In 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy crashed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a band of renegade misfits who poked fun at their serious superhero peers with disparaging banter and a kick-ass soundtrack.

If Vol. 1 was an exciting, thrilling take on what could have been a B-movie space opera, Vol. 2 definitely packs the same type of punch — but not everyone wanted to hear the same record a second time.

That's the biggest complaint of critics who saw James Gunn's intergalactic space epic, which reunites our rag-tag group of heroes played by Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, and Dave Bautista.

Reviewers still considered Vol. 2 a breath of fresh air in a crowded superhero cinemascape, as the sequel brought back the same irreverent tone, disdainful banter, and action sequences flawlessly synched up to classic rock songs.

But the formula that was so revolutionary in Vol. 1 seemed slightly stale the second go-around — but that doesn't at all mean Vol. 2 will leave fans disappointed. (Just don't expect it to be better than the OG!)

See what the critics had to say (below) — and check out Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 in theaters May 5!
