While POTUS has refused to start talks on gun control, he addressed the tragedy which left at least 59 dead and over 500 injured. In an attempt to share his sorrow, he shared:

"The mass murder that took place Sunday night fills America's heart with grief."

It was an entirely different Trump than what we saw of him in Puerto Rico, disrespectfully throwing paper towels into the crowd. Although, here, the 71-year-old hardly took his eyes off his speech, plainly reading it off without any emotion.

Like his last press conference on the horrific shooting, he continued to pepper in scripture, asking God to "ease their suffering and to speed their healing," adding "that the souls of those who passed are now at peace in heaven."

He also went on to say:

One of the sisters said Marilou was completely in the dark about Stephen's plans:

"I know that she don't know anything as well, like us. She was sent away. She was away so that she will be not there to interfere with what he's planning. In that sense, I thank him for sparing my sister's life. [Marilou was] really in love with Steve."

The other sibling said Marilou, who was met by the FBI in Los Angeles on Tuesday, "didn't even know that she was going to the Philippines, until Steve said,

It's not all fun and music for the judges of the new American Idol.

That's one thing that was made clear when Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan assembled together for their first interview on Good Morning America.

On Wednesday, the judges — or, "the dream team" as Katy put it — were brought out on the ABC morning show where they revealed just how much work it takes for an aspiring singer to become America's next superstar.

The interview then took a serious turn as the trio addressed the harrowing mass shooting in Las Vegas on Sunday, and spoke on where they believe America should go from here.

Richie said he worries about fans' live music experiences being taken away by fear of violence, while Bryan admitted to feeling "nauseated" for the horrors that his dear friend Jason Aldean saw that night.

But Perry was a bit more outspoken, saying that while she prays everyday, "prayer without action is powerless." In addition to sending thoughts and prayers, the pop star said we as a society "need to take an unfortunate good, hard look at what our rules and our boundaries are with gun reform."

Looks like these judges are already copacetic. Ch-ch-check out their first interview (below).

Many are still trying to wrap their heads around the mass shooting which occurred in Las Vegas on Sunday.

As you surely know, the Route 91 Harvest Festival ended in tragedy when 64-year-old Stephen Paddock began raining bullets on the 22,000 person crowd. The gunman killed at least 59 people and injured around 527 others before taking his own life.

Paddock's suicide has complicated this situation as the authorities have been scrambling to find an answer as to why, this seemingly normal guy, would become a domestic terrorist. And the authorities aren't the only baffled ones as Stephen's brother, Eric Paddock, is also struggling to comprehend the devastation his flesh-and-blood caused.

On Tuesday, Mr. Paddock spoke with the press again where he gave a rambling speech about his brother's character and defended the culprit's recent decision to wire $100K to a girlfriend in the Philippines. Although the girlfriend in question is still considered a person of interest by law enforcement, Eric believes

More details have surfaced about Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock.

Years before he orchestrated the worst mass shooting in U.S. history, the 64-year-old had worked several jobs in government agencies — including the U.S. Postal Service and the IRS.

On Tuesday, a spokeswoman for the Office of Personnel Management told The Associated Press that Paddock had worked as a mail carrier from 1976 to 1978 in between graduating from Cal State Northridge in 1977.

After that, he worked as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service for six years until 1984, then worked a defense auditing job for about 18 months for a company that became Lockheed Martin, one of the world's largest defense contractors.

Even though Paddock's father was a notorious fugitive bank robber, law enforcement officials cannot explain what would motivate the gambler with no known criminal record to cause such a massacre.

Officials have noted that Paddock is much older than the typical shooter, and was not known to be suffering from mental illness. On the surface, he seemed to be living a comfortable life just north of Vegas.
