New ISIS Propaganda Video Includes Shots Of Times Square

Police say there is no specific threat.

ISIS has released a new propaganda video that references New York City.

The clip began circulating the internet on Wednesday, showing footage of what appears to be a suicide bomber constructing an explosive for a belt.

Shots of Times Square are spliced in-between those of a faceless individual building a suicide belt. The footage shows taxis, crowds, and notable NYC storefronts.

The video did NOT show a bomber or radicalist in the city itself. But the clip did include video of French President François Hollande speaking after last week's tragic Paris attacks.

NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Information Stephen Davis acknowledges that this appears to be a threat towards the Big Apple, saying in a statement:

"While some of the video footage is not new, the video reaffirms the message that New York City remains a top terrorist target."

He made it clear that the police are treating the matter incredibly seriously, even though there is no word of any immediate threat, continuing:

We cannot even begin to imagine what they're going through right now.

Now, five days later, the band that was performing when terrorists opened fire on the audience is speaking out.

Eagles of Death Metal managed to escape the building before they were taken hostage, but unfortunately not all of their crew members made it out alive.

police raid 2 dead paris attackers

On Wednesday, two terror suspects were declared dead with seven others being detained in custody after an intense shootout in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis. Whoa.

The security operation was in response to the deadly attacks in the City of Lights that shook the world last week. It's reported the operation was meant to target the ringleaders of the terrorism strike — specifically Abdelhamid Abaaoud and Salah Abdeslam.

The French police concentrated their mission in one particular residence building in the suburb where the targets had barricaded themselves. 15 residents, including women and children, were evacuated prior to the cops flooding the small town with heavy backup.

According to sources, one woman who was suspected by the authorities ended her life by blowing herself up via suicide belt.

In fact, the town's residents were certainly not far from the terrifying action.

German Soccer Match Canceled, Stadium Evacuated After 'Serious' Indication Of Explosive Materials

Another possible terrorist attack may have just been thwarted.

HDI-Arena in Hannover, Germany was evacuated Tuesday afternoon just 90 minutes before a friendly match between the German national team and Netherlands was set to take place.

Hanover police chief Volker Kluwe told local media outlets that the game was cancelled after multiple "serious" threats were received warning of a potential attack similar to what happened in Paris, France.

While no explosive materials have been confirmed, several reports have indicated that a truck filled with bombs disguised as an ambulance was located outside of the stadium.

What makes this thwarted attack even more eerily similar to the fatal killings in Paris on Friday is that German Chancellor Angela Merkel was scheduled to attend the game, just as President François Hollande was watching his match.

There have also been reports that a concert venue similar to the Bataclan has been evacuated.

We'll continue to update you as the story develops.

Stay safe, everyone.

He must be so relieved!

Last week Fox News journalist Geraldo Rivera revealed on live TV that his daughter Simone, who is studying abroad, had been at the soccer stadium that was targeted during the attacks in Paris, France.

On Monday the concerned father traveled to Paris so he could make sure the 21-year-old was safe.

As you can imagine, the 72-year-old was filled with relief as he hugged and kissed his little girl. Once the journalist went back to work, he shared the experience of seeing his daughter again, saying:

"It was an amazing relief just to squeeze her and to know that she was safe. Of course we had exchanged text messages after a frustrating failure to communicate during the awful incident on Friday night. All I can say is that the Rivera family is tremendously relieved, but we mourn so much for the other families that have suffered so much here … This was a really severe, horrible blow to the soul of the French people."

Ch-ch-check out the wonderfully touching moment (below) as we keep in our hearts all those affected by the terrible events last week.
