What a needlessly tragic loss of life…

A baby bison in Yellowstone National Park is now dead after some "good Samaritans" unknowingly isolated the calf from its herd last week.

Apparently, a father and son were visiting a stretch of park in Idaho when they noticed a newborn bison lying on the road.

In an effort to "save" the calf, the tourists proceeded to carry the animal to their SUV to "keep it warm," but unfortunately, authorities then had no way of locating the rest of his family.

Yellowstone public affairs specialist Charissa Reid spoke to People on Tuesday about their difficult decision to euthanize the little guy after some life-saving attempts, saying:

Alexander Skarsgård Gets Wet & Wild (And Shirtless A LOT) In The Second Trailer For The Legend Of Tarzan! Watch!

| Filed under: Film FlickersAlexander SkarsgårdWildlifeGorillaMargot Robbie

You can take the man out of the jungle…

But according to the latest trailer for The Legend of Tarzan, you can't take the jungle out of the man — as evidenced by the wild scenes featuring Alexander Skarsgård kicking some serious civilized ass!

Years after he left the jungles of Africa behind for a regular life as John Clayton III, Tarzan travels back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament — or so he thinks!

The newest trailer reveals that the jungle man is actually a pawn of evil mastermind Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz), who ends up capturing his non-damsel wife (Margot Robbie).

But little do the bad guys know, Tarzan has some big forces of nature on his side — and unleashes stampedes and hordes of attacking gorillas on his enemies! Take that, civilization!

Ch-ch-check out the epic trailer (above) and go see The Legend of Tarzan in theaters July 1!

This is so scary — and could very well be the plotline for Jaws 5!

Last week, a woman in South Florida found a live five-foot blacktip shark in the pool of her condo complex!

According to reports, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers are still trying to figure out how exactly the shark got into the Mariner's Cay condominium pool.

The woman did tell officials she saw two young men running from the pool, which is close to the shoreline of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Thankfully, wildlife officials were able to remove the shark from the pool and brought it back to the ocean.

It's not clear if this was just a very poorly though-out prank, but thankfully the shark was spotted before any unsuspecting swimmers decided to take a dive!

Cecil The Lion's Killer Is Cleared — Zimbabwe Says Dr. Walter Palmer's Infamous Hunt Was Legal!

One of the biggest stories of the summer may have finally come to a conclusion.

Walter Palmer, the infamous dentist at the center of the Cecil the lion killing back in Zimbabwe earlier this summer, has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the hunt.

Zimbabwe's Environmental Minister announced on Monday that Palmer was not doing anything illegal when he killed Cecil, and that the Minnesota dentist's papers were in order before the hunt began.

This comes after Zimbabwe officials had earlier hinted they wanted to potentially extradite Palmer back to the African nation to face charges over the hunt — but now, after being cleared by the government, it would seem a potential extradition obviously won't come.

What do U think — did Zimbabwe make the right call on Palmer? Or does he need to face punishment for killing a well-known lion in the manner he did??

Is This The Last We Will Hear Of Dr. Walter Palmer??
