That's because just days after a Pennsylvania judge ruled that the former funny man can be tried on criminal charges, 20/20 decided to shed even more light on his history of sexual assault with their Cosby on Trial special.
The hour-long ABC News report aired Friday night and featured several interviews with Bill's accusers, updates on the case itself, and some mighty fine reporting from Elizabeth Vargas!

Friday was truly an emotional day for Amber Heard.
The blonde beauty went to court to ask for — and ultimately receive — a restraining order against Johnny Depp, alleging that the eccentric actor would regularly beat her over the course of their 15-month marriage.
In fact, the 30-year-old claimed her former flame even attacked her as recently as this past weekend, saying he hurled a phone at her head and bruised her face.

In the legal papers, the gorgeous gal claims her estranged husband "has a short fuse" and she even feared for his life when he went on his reported rampages, saying:

On Thursday, we learned that the DJ and Justin Bieber are being sued for supposedly stealing a portion of their smash single Sorry from an indie artist.
Casey Dienel — who performs under the name White Hinterland — filed a lawsuit alleging that the music producer and the superstar ripped off the 31-year-old's song Ring The Bell, saying they swiped "unique characteristics of the female vocal riff."

However, the 28-year-old is taking to Twitter to slam the suit, and even offered up video proof that he and cowriter Julia Michaels organically created their song's signature run, posting:

On Friday afternoon, Mr. Depp's lawyer released a statement against Amber Heard's domestic abuse claims. The actor also addressed the temporary restraining order a judge issued Heard following a dramatic court hearing.

Similarly to the 52-year-old's reply to A.H.'s divorce petition, the message denied all of his ex's allegations.
In short, the poppa's team strongly contends he never abused Heard, a position he feels is supported by the blonde's decision not to file a police report against him. Depp's team also pointed to an injury free Instagram picture the actress posted the day after their May 21 argument.
