On Thursday, it was revealed that their father, Steven Fanning, filed for divorce from their mother, Heather Joy Arrington.
The girls' poppa ended things with the professional tennis player after almost 27 years together, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
Since both Dakota and Elle are at least 18 years old, child support doesn't apply here. And, the electronics salesman didn't ask for any spousal support from the athlete, either.
But, the former flames are reportedly still deciding how to divide their property.
We just hope this is the best decision for everyone involved.

Who knew a breakup bop could sound so… threatening?!
We haven't been able to get Little Mix's single Shout Out To My Ex out of our heads, but we DEFINITELY can't wipe Bryan Cranston's dramatic reading of the fun track from our minds… because it's that intense!
On Thursday, the Breaking Bad alum stopped by BBC Radio 1, where he gifted hosts Scott Mills and Chris Stark with this HIGHlariously terrifying interpretation of the fierce females' song!
Ch-ch-check it out (above)!
Kevin Jonas is a proud poppa once again!
And now, the big day has finally arrived!
"We are so excited to welcome our new baby girl, Valentina Angelina Jonas to the world today. She is healthy and beautiful and we couldn't be happier!"

According to sources, Packer hasn't been in his "right mind for a while now". Apparently the mogul's demons came to a hilt last month in Greece after he allegedly did something "violent" to Carey's assistant.
While the details of the explosive incident remain unknown, it apparently scared the singer enough for her to call it quits. The insider also went on to reveal that the mom of two views James as "mentally unstable".
Damn. We really hope this info isn't true, especially since Mariah has her precious babies to worry about.
What's particularly interesting about this situation is all the conflicting reports surrounding the drama. Why would Mariah's shoot down split rumors if she's really done with Mr. Packer?
Also, does anyone else find it weird that James has been radio silent ever since this all blew up?
We'll continue to keep you updated as we receive more info on this confusing situation.

What on earth is going on here?!
In the official message, Carey's camp insinuates the two aren't yet broken up despite previous reports suggesting otherwise. In fact, TMZ just revealed a source is claiming the two are done for good due to an explosive fight in Greece last month.
Well, either the entertainer is delusional or all those other reports are FALSE. It's especially confusing considering her rep is referring to this drama as a "fight" as opposed to a split.

Whew! Blac Chyna is not messing around!
As you may know, reports surfaced earlier claiming Rob Kardashian is currently under a criminal investigation over threats he allegedly made to Chyna's former pal Pilot Jones.
This all, of course, comes after it was said Pilot was hooking up with the 28-year-old either before her relationship with Rob or while the two were on one of their MANY breaks. The feud reportedly heated up after pics of Chyna and Jones kissing surfaced online this past week.
Fast forward to now, the 88 Fin owner has GONE OFF on the artist for trying to "extort" and come after her for $150K for his alleged involvement in her emoji app.
Taking to Instagram with screenshots of a text exchange between the three AND her paternity test results, Chy vented:
The hammer of the law is coming down on the man who destroyed Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
Early on Thursday, LAPD tracked down James Otis in West Hollywood as he was leaving a home and arrested him for felony vandalism.
Heir to the Otis Elevator Company fortune and apparently worth millions, Otis had reportedly planned to hold a press conference before turning himself in, but was arrested by police before he had the chance.
No ten minutes of fame for you, James!
The elevator heir was reportedly cooperative with police and had previously stated he "wasn't afraid" of Trump, or being taken to court for that matter — which is a good thing, since he could face
