And now, Usher is opening it back up, too, by commenting on the case where Yeezy used his name in a song — 2005's hit single Gold Digger.
In that song, of course, 'Ye uses a lyric with a direct reference to Usher when he rapped:
"My best friend says she use to f*ck with Usher."
But the 37-year-old R&B star, who spoke about that song on a radio interview in Australia on Monday, laughed off the comparison with Swift, refusing to worry that Yeezy used his name.

In a Monday interview with Good Morning America, Ozzy opened up about the state of his marriage to Sharon. Speculation about the couple's status reached an all-time high when it was revealed that the singer cheated on Mrs. O with hairstylist Michelle Pugh.
According to the Black Sabbath star, the recent reports of a reconciliation are TRUE and the two are on the road to recovery. The father even went as far to declare Sharon's Lemonade moment as a "bump in the road."
When asked about his tumultuous nuptials, Ozzy revealed:
"It's back on track again."
The entertainer also spoke on the ups and downs of marriage, explaining:
"Some days are good. Some days are terrible. Some days you just drift apart for a while but you get back on the horse."

Despite a public outcry from Disney traditionalists to leave the beloved Twilight Zone-themed thrill ride alone, it looks like the spooky elevator will be permanently closing its doors sooner than later.
Over the weekend, Disney revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! would be opening at Disney California Adventure park in the summer of 2017, sharing on Twitter:
