Rapper Juice Wrld Dead At 21 After Apparent Airport Seizure

Rapper Juice Wrld Dead after apparent seizure

Up-and-coming rapper Juice Wrld has died after an apparent seizure suffered at Chicago’s Midway Airport early Sunday morning.

The rapper, whose career was just taking off after working alongside Travis Scott and releasing several other major projects in the last two years, was just 21 years old.

According to TMZ, the artist had been flying into Chicago from California on Sunday morning when, after his plane landed at Midway, he reportedly suffered the seizure while walking through the airport. Law enforcement sources say he was in the middle of a medical emergency, with blood coming from his mouth, as paramedics arrived on the scene to render aid.

Juice — whose real name is Jarad Anthony Higgins — was apparently still conscious when he was quickly rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead a short time later. The cause of death is still unclear at this moment; it hasn’t been reported yet as to whether he had a history of seizures or similar medical emergencies.

A promising career, suddenly cut short…

The rapper may have been young, but he was quickly starting to peak in the entertainment world before his death, and had already managed to make a name for himself despite having only just turned 21 years old.

He climbed to the top of the charts in 2018, reaching #2 with his huge summer hit, Lucid Dreams, the impressive music video version of which you can watch (below):

Soon thereafter, his song All Girls Are The Same charted, as well, after Lil Yachty brought attention to it by being featured on the remix.

After having success with those two tracks, Interscope Records quickly took notice, and signed the rapper to a multi-million dollar contract that year, as well. And from there, it appeared like his career was really starting to come together.

More recently, he appeared on Travis Scott’s enormous Astroworld album, singing the hook as a featured artist on the track No Bystanders. You can hear that song, too (below):

The young, hard-working rapper had only just turned 21 last Monday, as well, the news outlet reports. Talk about a promising, impactful life and career cut way, way too short. Ugh. So sad…

Our thoughts and prayers are with Higgins’ family, friends, and loved ones right now, as it must be unimaginable to be dealing with something so sudden and so terrible like this. This is such tough news to take in any circumstance, obviously, but especially with somebody so young. Ugh.

Rest In Peace…
