Let’s just say 2018 was NOT a good year to be famous and in a serious relationship, because chances are that you most likely broke up in the last twelve months! That’s what it honestly feels like, at least — so many newly-single celebs who left longtime relationships for greener pastures! Crazy!

Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux
Poor Jen! After trying so hard to make it work with Brad Pitt back in the day, she’s gone and whiffed again with Theroux — though, to be fair, it takes two to tango in a split like this. Jen and Justin have been on relatively good terms since the split, but there’s no doubt here — they’re done for good, and moving on with life apart!
Jenna Dewan & Channing Tatum
When Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan split up earlier this year, it became clear that NOBODY was safe! The longtime couple (and now co-parents) parted ways a few months ago, and have both since moved on to new relationships of their own. Channing in particular seems ESPECIALLY happy with Jessie J by his side. You go, boy!
Kendra Wilkinson & Hank Baskett
Things have been sour for these two for quite some time now, but it finally went down for good in 2018: Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are definitely no longer a thing. Unlike many splits on this list, though, this one was messy: cheating allegations, co-parenting problems, LOTS of rumors, a little bit of rehab and a ton of counseling… wow!
Nikki Bella & John Cena
Together for what seemed like forever, it took a particularly brutal 2018 to break up John Cena and Nikki Bella… and even then, the breakup almost didn’t take! Nikki pressed John for marriage, he wasn’t feeling it, then he was and decided to make a late gambit back for her heart, then things fizzled anyways, then they tried to make a go of it again, but their hearts and minds got the better of ’em… whew! Exhausting!
Kourtney Kardashian & Younes Bendjima
This was always something of a fling after Kourtney Kardashian (FINALLY) left Scott Disick for good… but nobody told that to Younes Bendjima, apparently, because the dude had a legit meltdown when Kourtney cut him off.
Miranda Lambert & Anderson East (…and Evan Felker)
Miranda Lambert’s quick-movin’ ways caught up to her a bit this year, with not one but TWO heavy-drama relationship enders thanks to Anderson East AND Evan Felker. Something tells us this will really be good for one big thing, though: Miranda will probably have a LOT of great new material for music in the coming few months!!!
Arie Luyendyk Jr. & Becca Kufrin
The Bachelor do-over heard ’round the world… after Arie Luyendyk Jr. picked Becca Kufrin and seemed destined to ride off with her into the sunset, he had a MAJOR change of heart and opted to go for the second-place finisher, Lauren Burnham. Drama, drama, drama… but honestly, it seemed like it kind of worked out for everybody, no?!
GiGi Hadid & Zayn Malik
After a while together as one of the sexiest, most in-demand couples in young Hollywood, GiGi Hadid and Zayn Malik called it quits in 2018, proving this year seriously had it in for EVERYBODY! But things seem to be going well for these two now…
Liam Payne & Cheryl Cole
Sometimes, love remains for a lifetime even with the normal struggles of a relationship combined with a bigger-than-usual age difference (Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, anyone?!). And sometimes… things just fall apart! Such was the case for Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole this year, contributing to ANOTHER former One Direction breakup and proving that true love just can’t quite make it through growin’ up!
Colton Haynes & Jeff Leatham
It’s not just straight couples that bit the dust this year! Colton Haynes and Jeff Leatham had been as solid as can be for a while now, but the turbulent, drama-fueled year that was in 2018 proved to be too much for their relationship to handle, as well. Luckily, they got back together.

One of the latest breakups in this particularly bad year may also turn out to be one of the messiest! Paris Hilton has up and moved WAY past Chris Zylka while he’s… sort of stuck picking up the pieces from the messy ending with the legendary socialite. So sad. JWoww filed for divorce from Roger Mathews in September 2018 after less than 3 years of marriage.
