Starlets old and new were out in New York City Monday night for the 20th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards.
Julianne Moore, who is quickly becoming Lanvin's poster child, wore yet another design from Alber Elbaz' Spring 2011 collection.
But it looks like Julianne may have some competition because Natalie Portman also wore Lanvin for the second time this month. Her black one shoulder puff sleeve dress was from the French label's H&M collection.
Hilary Swank and Mila Kunis were the only ones that went for a sexy look. Hilary showed up in a black lace Emilio Pucci mini while Mila rocked a navy Oscar de la Renta dress.
And then there's Anne Hathaway and Winona Ryder.
Both ladies underwhelmed in Dolce & Gabbana.

And she was doing so well too.
On Monday night, Leighton Meester arrived at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in another surprising outfit choice.
Rather than wearing another cocktail dress, the Gossip Girl star opted for a Thom Browne suit.
We want to like it, but we're not sure if we can.
However, we'd much rather have a suit than her last attempt at wearing pants.
