Lily Collins was ready to take flight last night at the CFDA Awards in New York City.

The Mirror Mirror actress dressed in a gold, embroidered Marchesa dress with a big ol' bird on the bodice and metallic Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

It's definitely an inneresting frock, but we think Lily could have done better.

Jessica Chastain looked as if she descended from heaven to attend the CFDA Awards on Monday.

The angelic Help actress donned a delicate white silk organza Prabal Gurung Resort dress hand-embroidered with gold star burst beading and gold Nicholas Kirkwood for Prabal Gurung platform sandals.

While the dress is a little too youthful for Jessica, she still looks pretty.

Ashley Olsen looked all bright and purply to accept the Womenswear Designer of the Year Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Like her dark-haired twinny, Ash wore a dress from The Row, Sidney Garber jewels and bright Manolos.

A winning look for sure! Congrats ladies!

Well, look who's a brunette!!

Mary-Kate Olsen debuted her darker 'do at Monday night's CFDA Awards in NYC.

Along with her sleek chocolate brown hair, MK wore a black top, skirt, and matching handbag from The Row's Resort collection.

She topped off the look with drop earrings and necklace by Sidney Garber and black Louis Vuitton shoes.

Her new locks give her a much more sophisticated look!

Dakota Fanning was quite the standout last night at the CFDA Awards.

The actress attended as the guest of designers and nominees Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, so naturally she was dressed in head to toe Proenza Schouler.

Dakota's kimono coat dress is definitely a far cry from her usual sugary sweet ensembles, so it's nice to see her doing something different.

We're also thrilled she pulled her hair back because wearing her hair down would NOT have worked.

One of the biggest draws at Monday night's CFDA Awards is Johnny Depp.

Unfortunately, the actor will not be in attendance to pick up his Fashion Icon award because he's currently on location in New Mexico filming The Lone Ranger.

International Award winner Rei Kawakubo will also be MIA as she's busy getting ready for the Comme des Garçons menswear show in Paris on June 29.

Both winners have asked John Waters to accept their awards in what a CFDA spokesman calls "a complete coincidence," adding:

"…that there might be a chance that both would not be able to attend but felt both were deserving no matter what."

Sigh… They both will certainly be missed. But, congratulations to all winners!
