Between their Olympic debacles and the bus that blindsided Ann Curry, we were about ready to start calling it the Summer of #NBCfail.

If the struggling network found one saving grace, though, it's their unexpectedly excellent TODAY concert series in New York City.

And they took another step in the right direction by adding Carly Rae Jepsen to their already impressive August lineup!!

It seems silly for the colorful Canadian to sing Call Me Maybe four or five times in a row so NBC teamed her up with Owl City to put on a more complete concert.

Owl City? Ain't that a hoot!

One Direction Show The Olympians What Makes You Beautiful At The Closing Ceremony! Watch HERE!

We couldn't have thought of a better way to kick off a night of so much EXCITEMENT!

While our beloved Spice Girls rode back into our lives via taxi cab last night to reunite for one helluva performance during the 2012 Summer Olympic Closing Ceremony, it was the far more RECENT British boy band One Direction that took the stage first!

Ch-ch-check out the boy band's Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson arriving on the flatbed of a truck to make teenage Olympian girls - and all the spectators at home - swoon with their smash single, What Makes You Beautiful (above)!


With such an incredible night of music, they guys must have been THRILLED to be a part of it all!

And you MORE than held your own, gents!

The Spice Girls REUNITE At The 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony! Watch Their Performance HERE!

After such an incredible journey for so many athletes and spectators alike, what better way to celebrate the 2012 Summer Olympics in London coming to a close than with the ORIGINAL fab five?!

That is RIGHT, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisholm reunited as the SPICE GIRLS this evening to perform at the Closing Ceremony, and as to be expected, it was filled with glamor, ferocity, and GIRL POWER!

Well done, ladies!

Nobody does it like you do, and we couldn't ask more anything MORE!

Paul Smith Goes Postal For The Olympics

Sir Paul Smith is putting his stamp on the summer Olympics — literally.

The British menswear designer has created a set of 7 stamps for the Isle of Man, the British dependency that lies near the coast of Scotland, to celebrate the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

The brightly colored stamps went on sale January 1st for $1.55 each.
