On November 9, Hillary Clinton took to the stage to address her supporters following the results of this hard fought presidential election, in which she shockingly lost to Donald Trump.
After the nasty race to the White House ended in the most stunning upset in political history, Clinton reportedly called her opponent early Wednesday morning to concede her defeat.

And while our divided country is still trying to process how this actually happened, HRC remained her poised and political self while delivering the heartbreaking news to those who were hoping for a much different result.
Following a heartwarming introduction from running mate Tim Kaine, a visibly upset Hillary spoke to the crowd at New Yorker Hotel's Grand Ballroom, saying:
"I know how disappointed you feel because I feel it too… this is painful, and it will be for a long time. Donald trump is going to be our president. We owe him and open mind and a chance to lead."
Though clearly disappointed in the outcome, the 69-year-old wished her opponent success in the White House, but made sure to tell her supporters to not give up fighting in what they believe is right. She continued:
