Looks like they're going to try and shoot for Friends territory here!
Not that we blame them…especially after last season's ratings!
That's right, How I Met Your Mother will be back for its eighth season come fall, but after the long-running sitcom had a surprising boost in viewership during last season - 8.5 million, to be exact - execs at CBS and 20th Century Fox have reportedly started tentative negotiations to renew it for a NINTH year!
But will the talent want to stick around past the 2012-2013 season?
Jason Segel has already stated

We've been assuming that Prometheus would be a major blockbuster this summer and if ticket sales in France are any indication, we're right.
The science fiction film opened up #1 in the European country with $1.5 million worth of ticket sales on the first day, which is the country's second best opening day of 2012.

We can't get enough of Prometheus and thankfully 20th Century Fox understands that so the studio has released another viral video!
In this one, Noomi Rapace's character is sending a transmission to Peter Weyland in hopes of securing a spaceship to continue studying mankind's origin.
If only she knew what we do just from watching the trailer. This expedition won't end well for this poor woman, but at least she got that ship! Ha!
Check out the clip (above) to hold yourself over until this blockbuster hits theaters on June 8th.

Stupid is as stupid does and it looks like 20th Century Fox wants viewers to expect the stupidest of humor when they buy a ticket to watch The Three Stooges.
New posters for the Peter and Bobby Farrelly comedy, which hits theaters on April 13, display the tag lines, "All Pain. No Brain," and "Stupidity Loves Company."
So what are we learning from this marketing campaign?

Aw! Don't be such a stinker!
Although, honestly, we don't blame the guy.
As you all know by now, 20th Century Fox is re-releasing the 1997 film Titanic in 3D and yeah, obvsies, it will most likely dominate at the box office even 15 years later.
But the film's star Leonardo DiCaprio is gonna sit this one out as he's unwilling to participate in promoting the film.
And the reason why?
