Excellent! They've got big ass shoes to fill!
Darren Aronofsky pretty much crushed our dreams of a good movie when he dropped off the proposed sequel to X-Men: Wolverine, The Wolverine, but apparently, David Slade and Duncan Jones have been tapped by execs for a chance to pick up the pieces of this mess.
While Slade is best known for more of a horror fare, like his work on 30 Days of Night, Jones was behind the really cool sci-fi flick, Moon.
Wow. Two really, specifically stylized aesthetics - but in complete opposition of each other! We think both could bring a lot to the table for the project!
It will be inneresting to see who gets the job! But hey!
We're excited again!
What do U think? Which one should direct The Wolverine??

Last we heard about Daredevil, Matt Damon was speaking about how he ALMOST played the title role that eventually went to Ben Affleck.
Looks like Matt will have a second chance, because 30 Days of Night director David Slade is working on a Daredevil reboot for 20th Century Fox.
Details are scarce at this point, but reports say that the story will be based on Frank Miller & David Mazzucchelli's Born Again story arc, "which has the Kingpin discovering Daredevil's secret identity, Matt Murdoch, and destroying Murdoch's life."
We're not sure how necessary this is, but we suppose we'll be curious to see who they cast as Daredevil.
How about Garrett Hedlund? After seeing Tron: Legacy, we're thinking he's a VERY solid choice for upcoming action flicks.
Who do U think would be a good choice for the new Daredevil?
