Cooking is stressful enough as it is, but when you think you’re cooking a 30-minute meal but end up spending over two hours on it, cooking can be a nightmare.

Jamie Oliver’s bestselling cookbook Jamie’s 30-Minute Meals has come under fire after numerous customers have complained that the meals take well over 30 minutes to make.

An anonymous cook posted on Jamie’s official forum online:

“Jamie, your 30 minute meals are more like 90 minute meals! Even with three people cooking them they still CANNOT be done in thirty minutes. We are not amateur cooks, and they still take at least double the time. Also, most of the time the meat is not cooked in the time that you say.”

Most customers have been satisfied with the quality of the recipes, just not the broken promises about the cook-time.
