Ice cream dates! 4th of July smooches! Could these two lovebirds act any more American??

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds definitely had our flag at full mast with their seksy display of Independence Day, uhhh, patriotism!!

Forget waiting until dusk to see fireworks — the real show was watching Ryan sing Happy Birthday to America… inside of Blake's mouth, LOLz!!

When these two get frisky at a backyard barbecue, there's seriously more fireworks than a Katy Perry album!!

One thing puzzled us, though…

Blake normally has one of the BEST bodies in the biz — so what's the deal with her one-piece bikini?

Joey Chestnut just won his sixth straight belt in the most American competition ever — the 2012 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest!

The hungry athlete tied his own 2009 world record by downing 68 dogs in 10 minutes on the 4th of July, while Sonya 'The Black Widow' Thomas took the women's title after eating 45 hot dogs in the same amount of time.

She was able to beat her previous world record of 40, which she set during last year's first-ever women's competition.

Joey, one of the best competitive eaters in the history of the sport, blew away his competition because the second place finisher only at 52 dogs. He'll be a force to be reckoned with for years to come too. The 28-year-old doesn't plan on retiring any time soon and told sources:

"My record is 68 hot dogs in 10 minutes, and I'm going to break it hopefully just by eating it like a beast."

Amazingly, the six-foot-tall champ only weighs 210 pounds, while Sonya is only 100! Where do they fit all that food???

Cam Gigandet and his wife Dominique Geisendorff have announced their second baby is on the way!

Although we don't know the name or gender of the baby in the tummy, judging by its parents, we're going to take a leap of faith and garner that the baby is going to be beautiful!

The husband and wife brought their cute daughter Everleigh Ray Gigandet to go for an afternoon walk on the beach while celebrating Independence Day with friends.

Zac Efron celebrated the 4th of July by letting the salty air blow through his beautiful mane aboard a boat in the Mediterranean Sea.

Our beloved Zacquisha is currently on vaycay in St. Tropez and unfortunately for us he kept his Poseidon-like bod shielded from the sun.

That's OK. We'll just use our imagination!

Why make this video? For several reasons!

Perez has been making a shirtless 4th of July video annually since 2008. It's a way to hold ourselves accountable. We said we were going to work towards being healthier and more fit, and this was a great way to "lay it all out there".

Also, having a goal and something to work towards is a great motivator!

We also hope that by sharing our journey, we might inspire some of you to work on your fitness as well and lead a healthier life. If we can do it, you can too! You just need to believe! And DO IT!

Plus, documenting our body every 4th of July is also a great way to see progress, how much we've changed from year to year.

And we sure have changed a lot just these past seven months - both physically and spiritually!

We have seen a DIRECT CORRELATION between our health and our happiness! The healthier we've become = the happier we've become!

This has been a year of intense change, growth, challenges, fun and more! And we're still in the process of "figuring it all out"!

We think we will always be in the process of "figuring it all out"! That's life! It's a journey! It's constantly changing. Embrace that change!

Believe in your dreams. Believe in yourself!
