To recap, on the 4th of July, Nicolas Cage's son Weston and his wife Nikki were taken into custody and booked on felony domestic violence charges.

According to witnesses, Weston's new wife Nikki Williams went absolutely ballistic, and cut Weston's son with a broken bottle before punching him and then threatening to jump off a balcony. Apparently, Weston was also violent himself.

Then yesterday, Weston took to Facebook to post about his recently arrested wife, and how he'll get her out of jail.

Maybe just turn the stereo system down next time, Andrew. Seriously.

Over the weekend, we heard that actor Andrew Keegan was put in handcuffs after refusing to turn down his music at a raging house party in Marina Del Rey, California.

There were reports that he was tasered, but cops have denied it, although they said he was very "uncooperative."

Now, Andrew has opened up about the incident, and he's saying that the cops wanted to make an example of him and that he was doing nothing wrong.

He claims that his house party was actually a fundraiser for three charities, and that he had five off-duty police officers employed for the event.

He also claims that he DID cooperate with the police, but they didn't care and wanted to make an example of him for their "No Tolerance Independence Day policy."

Okay, so it sucks that your party/fundraiser was interrupted, Andrew, but you've got an ENTIRE YEAR until next 4th of July, so maybe it'd be worth it to just let this one go…unless you'd like to remind us further that you're still around. LOLz.

Mmm…America never tasted so good!

In a tradition now synonymous with the 4th of July, Joey Chestnut took top honors for the 5th time in a row after scarfing down 62 hot dogs at the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest.

In the patriotic competition, which began in 1916 after four immigrants faced off on Coney Island to settle an argument about who was the most patriotic, competitors have 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as possible.

In order to eat such a large quantity of hot dogs (22,000 calories worth!), participants usually eat the dog and bun separately by soaking the bun in water, then violently shoving it in their mouth.

Hmm…maybe we were just kidding about that tasting good part! LOLz!

For the first time EVER in the contest's 96 years of existence, there was a separate women's division this year. Sonya Thomas, known as the "Black Widow" of competitive eating, downed 40 dogs to take her first Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest title.

Congrats on the victory guys! Now it's time to hit the treadmill or play a sport that BURNS calories! Ha!

Sean Penn went for an early morning jog in Malibu on Independence Day with his personal trainer cycling behind and a new lady, Stacey Koplin, by his side.

The actor has been training pretty hard lately. We wonder if he's getting in shape for a new movie role or he's just keeping his 50-year-old body in shape to compete for all the younger women he's been romantically linked to!

Later on, Penn and Koplin were spotted celebrating the holiday with a day at the Malibu beach riding a jet ski together.

Not much is known about his newest flame, but she's definitely a hottie with a body! How does this guy do it?

With 4th of July right around the corner, Old Navy is helping shoppers get patriotic while supporting our troops.

As part of their Operation: Care and Comfort benefit, the retailer will send a shirt to troops overseas for every stars and stripes shirt purchased between July 1st and July 5th.

On top of providing up to 500,000 patriotic tees, Old Navy will be collecting clothing items for troops that can be purchased (for under $10) in their "troop essentials" section.

As a bonus, anyone who makes a donation will receive a 10% discount on purchases made that day.

Sounds like a great way to help out and score some new clothes all at the same time!
