As scary as this may seem now, we truly feel it's for Amanda Bynes' best interests in the long-run.
We've just learned that a judge actually traveled TO the hospital Friday after doctors explained that she was too unwell to make the trek to the courthouse herself — escorts or not!
After reviewing the matter at hand, the judge granted doctors an emergency conservatorship which extends the psychiatric hold for another 30 days. Based on the law books, the judge must have found Miz Bynes "gravely disabled" from a mental disorder to rule such permission.
While Amanda was supposed to attend a hearing today concerning her parents' request for a conservatorship, that opportunity was obviously (and forcibly) missed. Rick and Lynn will continue to pursue their case, however, as it will stay in effect until September 30.

Amanda Bynes is none too pleased with her parents!
While we see Lynn Bynes and Rick Bynes passionate push to recuperate their mentally unstable as a sign of loving devotion, Amanda sees it a bit differently.
In fact, ever since the doting parents tried to file for conservatorship, Amanda's ever-present grudge is growing. Her growing resentment was fueled wayyyy back before she "retired" from acting.

Amanda Bynes wants OUT and she wants out NOW!
After the judge ordered a two week extension on her 5150 hold, Amanda made damn sure her lawyer would file a motion requesting she be allowed to break free.
At 2pm PT Friday, the judge will hear Amanda's case with both MandaPanda and her attorney present.
As far as her parents' quest for a conservatorship goes, they faced a small defeat today when the judge denied them a temporary one… but an August 9 court date has been set for the long-term 'ship.
Stay tuned, Perezcious readers! It's gettin' NUTS!

It's the beginning of the bizarreness' end!
As you know — unless you've just woken up from a glorious week-long nap (in which case, the royal baby was born too) — Amanda Bynes was sent to the hospital for mental evaluation Monday night.
After catching her exercising her pyro love in a stranger's driveway, law enforcement placed her under a 5150 hold that could only stay in tact for 72 hours.
That is… unless a judge found it necessary to keep her hospitalized even longer.
And guess what! They did!

This does not sound good.
While one source has revealed that Amanda Bynes has been “doing well” throughout her 5150 hold and “knows when to…act normal,” it seems that might not actually be the case.
Following the troubled actress’ run-in with the law — from bong-throwing to her latest fire-on-lawn incident — medical officials will reportedly seek a two week extension on her evaluation as Amanda is allegedly believed to be displaying symptoms of schizophrenia.
We only hope that Amanda gets the help she needs. What with this evaluation and her parents’ request for conservatorship, this might just be what she needs.
As long as all parties act in her best interest.
