WTF?! Harvey Weinstein Claims Oprah Winfrey Was 'Ready To Come Out And Publicly Support Him'

no title

This is awkward…

Harvey Weinstein has apparently been claiming that Oprah Winfrey called him this week to say that she's "ready to come out and publicly support him" according to TMZand yet Oprah's team is TOTALLY denying this!!

Related: Harvey, Seriously, WTF Is THIS Shit?!

Sources say that Harvey has been going around telling everyone who will listen that a number of powerful people — Oprah included — have reached out to him and encouraged the producer to defend himself publicly, apparently even going so far as to say they'd have his back.

Now, in Weinstein's telling of this story, apparently he repeatedly singled out Oprah as being a supporter who kept saying this over and over again.

One problems… Oprah says that's not true. Like, not even a little bit.

Her team responded by indicating they were really just after Weinstein for a 60 Minutes interview (below):

It's not looking good for John McCain.

On Sunday's 60 Minutes, the Arizona senator opened up about the moment he was diagnosed with brain cancer earlier this year, and the "very poor" prognosis he received from doctors.

Back in July, McCain was at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix for a routine check up when doctors found a blood clot in his left eye. The Republican was driving home when his doctor called and said he needed to turn around for emergency surgery to remove the clot.

It was days after the surgery when doctors told McCain he had glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer — and his prognosis wasn't bright. He explained to CBS:

Steve Bannon Says You Can Call Him 'Racist' — But What Does He Think About That Grim SNL Portrayal?

no title

The Grim Reaper has spoken… and he really doesn't mind the comparison.

Steve Bannon couldn't care less that Saturday Night Live portrayed him as the angel of death in various presidential sketches last season because, unlike Donald Trump, the former White House chief strategist doesn't "need the affirmation of the mainstream media."

Video: Bannon Vows To Be Trump's 'Wingman Outside Of White House!

When asked by Charlie Rose about the scathingly evil caricature on Sunday's 60 Minutes, Bannon replied:

"I don't care what they say. They can call me an anti-Semite. They can call me racist. They call me nativist. You can call me anything you want. Okay? As long as we're driving this agenda for the working men and women of this country, I'm happy."

Hmmm… kinda sounds like he likes being called racist and anti-Semitic??

Throughout the interview, Bannon remained loyal to his former boss/puppet boy, calling POTUS "very presidential" and even complimenting his Twitter skills:

Just like Taylor Swift has taken on the role of the snake, Steve Bannon is embracing the way the media has portrayed him: a nefarious Nationalist bent on dividing the globe!

In his first interview since resigning (?) from his White House post, Donald Trump's former chief adviser confirmed he would return as chairman of Breitbart News to be the president's "wingman outside."

Speaking to Charlie Rose, Bannon explained the mission of his MAGA-friendly outlet:

"Our purpose is to support Donald Trump… to make sure his enemies know there's no free shot on goal."

Uh oh. Watch out, CNN — Bannon is putting his goalie mask on!

After re-pledging his allegiance to the Drumpf, the former aide suggested White House staffers who don't agree with the president's actions — or, say, his response to Charlottesville — should quit their bitching and leave.

Not one to beat around the bush, Bannon name dropped

The 55-year-old sat down with 60 Minutes' Steve Kroft to reflect on the past eight years, and the "unusual" transition we have ahead of us.

The darling Democrat discussed Donald Trump's "improvisational campaign," saying:

"It's unusual. I'll agree with that. And I suspect the President-Elect will agree with that. Look, he's an unconventional candidate. I don't think there's anybody who's run a campaign like his successfully in modern history, not that I can think of."

The Illinois native also touched on the racist Republican's lack of relevant experience, adding:

no title

Now that Donald Trump has successfully swindled won the election, the people have many questions.

Aside from his past scandals, controversial comments, and half-baked government policies that seem like they were planned by Wile E. Coyote, the biggest thing on our minds is… can The Donald actually come across as presidential?

On Sunday, we got a taste of a Trump White House when the President-elect had his first extensive post-election interview on 60 Minutes.

Of course, we've already heard a bit from the President-elect's interview on CBS — including an apparent inclination to walk back some of his campaign promises already by not fully repealing and replacing Obamacare!

Disturbingly, The Donald has also shown a willingness to immediately deport as many as three million undocumented immigrants when he takes office in January.

Awful — and scary — and it's a stance we can already see people backing with glee across America.

There's more, though; speaking to Lesley Stahl, the 70-year-old sat down with his family, including Melania, Ivanka, Tiffany, Eric, and Donald Jr. at their Fifth Avenue residence in New York City.
