When you look at Anderson Cooper, you don't necessarily see a daredevil stunt man.

But Anderson was really showing his thrill seeker side when he was hanging out with Garrett McNamara for 60 Minutes.

McNamara is a big wave surfer and daredevil, so he took Anderson out on a jet ski, to give him a real taste of what it's like to catch a HUGE wave.

At one point, Anderson asks Garrett to pull off a dangerous move and Garrett hesitates.

So Anderson eggs him on and starts calling him names!!

Being the daredevil he is, Garrett doesn't back down.

Everything works out… sort of. Anderson does sort of end up blind though.

Say whaaaaat??!

The show 60 Minutes and Lance Armstrong have had a looooong history.

It was all the way back in 2000 when they did a very empowering piece about the now-shamed cyclist, for being a cancer survivor AND a champion. As the years went by, though, their reports on him took a 180 degree turn, and they wanted him to answer for all the questions and allegations around rumors of cheating.

Lance went from charming to threatening VERY fast!! BOO.

Listen to the story (above) about how he actually threatened a CBS producer about going forward with a segment they had planned! Of course, now that all his cheating has come to light, we're willing to be 60 Minutes is feeling prettttty good about being right!

It looks like Oprah or Barbara Walters may get to kick off the New Year with a bang disgusting child molester sitting across from them.

According to defense attorney Joe Amendola, Jerry Sandusky and his naive wife Dottie are "considering speaking together publicly after the new year."

They're going big or going home though and are currently deciding between "Oprah Winfrey, 60 Minutes, Rock Center or Barbara Walters."

What about Perez?! Ha!

Just kidding. We wouldn't even want to be in the same room with that creep.

Lance Armstrong and his lawyers are PISSED at 60 Minutes!

After the show ran a segment about Armstrong using performance-enhancing drugs, Lance and his lawyers got Switzlerland’s anti-doping laboratory to confirm that Lance didn’t use drugs during the 2001 Tour de Suisse (the race that CBS alleged he cheated by doping).

Lawyer Elliot Peters is calling on CBS to apologize:

“In the cold light of morning your story was either extraordinarily shoddy, to the point of being reckless and unprofessional, or a vicious hit-and-run job. In either case, a categorical on-air apology is required.”

But it doesn’t look like they will get the apology.

Said CBS News spokesman Kevin Tedesco:

“We consider this the most thorough investigation into doping in the sport of cycling ever done.”

Yikes.

Lance Armstrong’s attorney, Mark Fabiani, is in Hulk mode right now.

After 60 Minutes aired a report last night where Lance Armstrong’s teammate Tyler Hamilton talked about Lance’s (alleged) performance-enhancing drug use, Mark released a statement calling the show slanderous.

Said Mark:

"We have already responded in great detail at www.facts4lance.com. Throughout this entire process, CBS has demonstrated a serious lack of journalistic fairness and has elevated sensationalism over responsibility."

He continued:

"CBS chose to rely on dubious sources while completely ignoring Lance's nearly 500 clean tests and the hundreds of former teammates and competitors who would have spoken about his work ethic and talent.”

This is getting ugly!!
