Not bad!

At Monday's Academy Award nominee luncheon, Helena Bonham Carter once again toned down her look for something a little more classy.

The Oscar contender chose a no frills LBD and plenty of accessories.

On her hands she wore sheer black gloves, a large pearl necklace, a Lulu Guinness bag and to top it off a mesh bow in her hair.

It's not a terrible look, but it's not great either.

There's something about that black ribbon on the skirt of the dress that's not very flattering.

Melissa Leo could have easily passed as the long lost sister of the Bee Gees on Monday.

Wearing a white suit and colorful blue shirt, all that's missing is John Travolta and a light up floor!

At 50 years old, this suit is perfect for Melissa.

We just hope she didn't spill anything!

Jennifer Lawrence looked beautiful at the Beverly Hilton on Monday.

The 20 year old, who was there with all the other Oscar contenders, wore a simple chiffon dress by Chloé.

The dress is nice, but we like her quirky Roger Vivier's Epin'Elle bug sandals more!

Michelle Williams is trying real hard to make us forget about her Golden Globes fashion fail and we think it's working.

For Monday's Academy Award nominee luncheon, Michelle arrived in a black keyhole silk blouse and tweed skirt both by Chanel and Sergio Rossi heels.

It certainly doesn't make us go 'wow', but it's still a nice and classic look.

We're also liking her hair and makeup. Very pretty.

After sucking it in all night at the SAG Awards, Amy Adams decided to go easy on herself at the Academy Award nominee luncheon on Monday.

Amy strolled into the Beverly Hills event in a white Valentino capsleeve dress and gold Salvatore Ferragamo pumps.

There's something so effortless about this look. It's casual, but still incredibly chic.

Well done, Adams!

She did it! She finally got the message!

Nicole Kidman looked radiant at the Academy Awards nominee luncheon on Monday.

The Aussie showed up to the Beverly Hilton hotel in an orange silk chiffon dress by Yves Saint Laurent. If you look really close, the print is made up of fingerprints!

We could have done without the matching shoes, but overall this is a huge improvement for Nicole.
