We're lost for words.
During a performance at a Moscow circus, 22-year-old Kenyan acrobat Karo Christopher Kazungu took an 85-foot dive down onto a safety net for part of his act, but after the net failed to do its job — Karo fell straight through, and is now suffering several injuries.
The director general of the Great Moscow State Circus, Edgard Zapashny has spoken up about the TERRIBLE mishap, and tried to smooth things over by saying that the safety net had been tested rigorously before the show. He added that it was possible that it could've just been faulty, or that someone had messed with the net, although he didn't think that was the case.
Kazungu was reported to be conscious when he was taken to the hospital on Wednesday night, and was diagnosed with a fracture of one vertebra. However, because he's suffering from multiple injuries, he is currently in intensive care.
Apparently nothing like this had EVER happened during a Moscow circus, and we hope that Zapashny takes more caution when planning his big shows because next time someone can actually die.
And we don't want that to happen! Geez!
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) of the acrobat, but we have to warn you, it is pretty darn disturbing!!
