Sally Struthers Busted For DUI In Maine!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooLegal Matters

Following Walking Dead actor Scott Wilson's lead, Sally Struthers has been arrested for driving drunk on Thursday, proving that you're never too old to make a dumb mistake.

The 65-year-old was pulled over shortly after midnight in Ogunquit, Maine and taken into custody where she was charged with operating under the influence before being released on just $160 cash bail.

Considering we've paid parking tickets more expensive than that and the charge is only a misdemeanor, we think she got off pretty easy!

Guess the arresting officers were fans of All In The Family.

Or they wanted to make sure she could finish her scheduled performances in the musical 9 to 5 at the Ogunquit Playhouse — her last show is Saturday.

Kate Upton Sends Donations Soaring On The Trading Floor

kate-upton-cantor-fitzgerald-charity-day-ap.jpg

Kate Upton has been in quite the charitable mood lately and we like it!

On Tuesday, the buxom model participated in BGC Partners8th annual Charity Day hosted by Cantor Fitzgerald, a trading firm that lost 658 of their co-workers eleven years ago on 9/11.

For the fundraising event, Kate looked chic as she worked the phones in a mesh-sleeved top, leather pencil skirt and coral peep-toe pumps.

We're sure all the men at Cantor Fitzgerald enjoyed Miz Upton taking time out of her busy schedule to lend a helping hand!

veteran triple amputation smart home 9 11

As a triple amputee, Marine Cpl. Juan Dominguez doesn't just deserve this smart home, he needs it.

He lost both legs and an arm when he landed on a buried bomb after slipping down an embankment in Afghanistan.

You might recognize this story — we've talked about it before. With the help of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and its partner, the Gary Sinise Foundation, the house is being completely donated.

Here's what Dominguez said:

9/11 Tribute: Paul McCartney Plays Let It Be Honoring First Responders

Filed under: Music MinuteR.I.P.InspirationPaul McCartneySad SadPerezTV

11 years passed … but never forgotten.

In October of 2001 Sir Paul McCartney organized a benefit honoring the lives lost during the horrific events that occurred in NYC on 9/11/2001.

After a slew of other famous and inspirational acts, Sir Paul closed out his Concert for New York City with Beatles classic Let It Be, giving a musical nod to all the surviving responders — firemen, policemen — who made some civil sense out of the immediate chaos that followed the Twin Tower attacks (above)

Thanks to these men and women, and their brothers and sisters who gave their lives attempting to rescue citizens in danger, the people of NYC were allowed to grieve their losses in a safe, organized atmosphere.

To all the lives lost during the events of that day, and to all those who continue to experience senseless violence on a mass scale due to reasons such as politics, greed, religion etc., we honor you, and may your stories serve as inspiration for peaceful coexistence.

Ground Zero Health Fund Opens For Cancer Victims

More than a decade later, the Ground Zero Health Fund is now open for those determined to have cancer caused by 9/11 debris.

Over 50 different types of cancer will be covered, it's just a question of how much money there is in the fund to begin with.

Check out the news report (above) for all the details.

All we can say is that it's about time something like this has happened, and it's awful how long we've waited.

We can only hope that this will continue the healing processes after such a horrifying day — something we might never completely finish.

Our hearts have, and will always, go out to those affected by the tragedy of 9/11.
