Girl Scouts Opens Their Doors To Trans Members While The Boy Scouts Try To Lift Their Ban On Gay Scout Leaders!

Filed under: Gay Gay GayStuff 4 Kidz

The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are finally getting their sh*t together!

It seems crazy that in 2015 there are STILL national organizations that are actually allowed to discriminate and exclude members based on their sexual orientation or gender!

But it looks like the Boy Scouts of America might FINALLY be getting their sh*t together!!

Last year, the Boy Scouts showed a bit of promise when they finally started allowing gay members to join as scouts! But that progress doesn't mean much when you realize they still have a ban on gay scout leaders!

Well, it sounds like that might change and SOON, as the group's president Robert Gates says there's NO way the ban will last! In fact, just last month the New York chapter announced they hired an openly gay scout leader as a summer camp leader!

While Robert says a change is gonna come, he also says

We think this might be the change that the modeling community needs.

The U.S. Supreme Court will rule on whether the right to marry is a constitutional right for same-sex couples, or whether states are allowed to ban same-sex marriages.

It's expected that the nine justices will begin hearing oral arguments from both sides in April before delivering a ruling by June.

Back in June of 2013, the court overturned the Defense of Marriage Act, a ruling that finally allowed married same-sex couples the same federal benefits as straight married couples.

Before today's announcement, the Supreme Court

What a disappointment!

On Tuesday morning, the ban against same-sex marriage in Idaho was struck down, which was obviously GREAT news for many same-sex couples. Unfortunately, this morning, an emergency court order against same-sex marriage was granted in Idaho which means gay marriage will temporarily blocked. Nevada is involved in the whole ordeal because the appeals court decided to consolidate the two appeal cases.

NCAA Lifts Penn State's Bowl Ban And Lessens Sanctions Following Jerry Sandusky Child Sex Abuse Scandal, And Here's Why That's Terrible

Filed under: Icky Icky PooZportzLegal MattersSad SadFootballSchool

The NCAA has lifted Penn State\'s bowl ban from the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal.

It's certainly been a crazy day in the world of football, and none of the news has anything to do with what's happening on the field.

The Baltimore Ravens took a huge step forward and somewhat righted the NFL's wrong by cutting Ray Rice from their roster after disturbing footage was leaked, showing the footballer punching his wife Janay Rice in the face.

Unfortunately, the NCAA took several big steps back as they announced they would lifting Penn State's bowl ban, effective immediately, and giving back all 85 athletic scholarships for the 2015 season.

The NFL is taking steps towards cracking down on domestic violence in the league.

FINALLY.

This past offseason, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell came under heavy fire after he suspended Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice for merely 2 games after he beat his now-wife, Janay Palmer, and dragged her apparently unconscious body out of an elevator.

Many felt the punishment did NOT fit the crime and was proof that league was turning a blind eye towards domestic violence towards women.

Well Roger heard the criticism and realized the error in his ways, and most importantly he decided to take action. The commissioner released a statement on the controversy, saying:
