Ryan Reynolds Shares Deadpool's HIGHlariously Crass 'For Your Consideration' Oscars Video! Watch!

no title

C'mon, Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, you know you want to…

Deadpool was one of the biggest surprise hits of 2016. Not only was it a box office hit, making over $750 million on a $60 million budget, but Ryan Reynolds' crude superhero also charmed the critics!

The action comedy was so revered, it was nominated for 2 Golden Globes — including Best Picture, Comedy or Musical (which it lost to La La Land) — and was recently nominated for awards from the Writers AND Producers Guilds!

And with the Oscar nominations coming out later this month, Reynolds shared a For Your Consideration video for Deadpool on Twitter — which, of course, continues in the spirit of mocking all of the film's acclaim!

Hilariously narrated by its leading hero, the clip tries to sway Oscar voters by noting the film's magical unicorns, assless chaps, broken fourth wall, chimichangas, and just about everything else the Academy loves.

Will Deadpool be a dark horse at the Oscars? Should La La Land and Moonlight be worried!? Watch the clip (below) to see if YOUR vote is swayed!

Can't Win 'Em All! 10 Films That Totally FLOPPED In The 2016 Box Office!!

no title

It's been another amazing year at the box office — you know, for movies about superheroes!

But otherwise, even some of the most anticipated blockbusters severely underperformed in the box office!

Despite being a mockumentary solely about spoofing Justin Bieber, Andy Samberg's POPSTAR: Never Stop Never Stopping fell flat, and well… stopped stopping right in theaters.

Speaking of big screen duds from SNL alumni — Tina Fey's war-zone dramedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot also flew under the radar in a year of superheroes, and unfortunately became another box office bomb.

And not even Sacha Baron Cohen's action comedy The Brothers Grimsby was able to make decent earnings in a post-Borat world! Yeesh!

For more of the biggest comedic and dramatic flops of 2016…

The Shawshank Redemption & 15 Other Classic Movies That Were Actually Box Office Bombs!

no title

Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things.

And that's good for the cast and crew of The Shawshank Redemption, because for a while things were looking grim!

Today, on the anniversary of its 1994 release, we look back on the Tim Robbins/Morgan Freeman prison drama as one of the greatest films of all time; it's even the number one rated movie of all time on IMDB.

But did you know back in when it was first released it was a total flop??

Luckily, the Oscar nominated film finally found its audience on home video and thousands of TNT airings.

But it wasn't the only film that wasn't appreciated during its initial release…

Bridget Jones's Baby Completely Bombs At The American Box Office — We've Got All Of This Weekend's Totals Including A BIG Repeat Winner!

no title

Well this is surely a surprise at the box office!!

Bridget Jones's Baby completely bombed in the domestic box office this weekend, racking up just $8.2 million in America, even though it absolutely cleaned up worldwide and had a HUGE showing in the UK!

Related: Author Who Inspired Field Of Dreams Has Died

The flick, a sequel of 2001's Bridget Jones's Diary, took home $38.1 million globally and did a record-setting $11.3 million in the UK alone, but that wasn't enough to transition to a must-see film for audiences here in America, where it REALLY disappointed.

In terms of domestic draw this weekend, it shuffled into

Ben Hur Is A Box Office Disaster — Will It Be One Of The Biggest Bombs Of All Time??

Filed under: Film FlickersSad SadBusiness BlitzOscarsGIFs

Ben Hur flopping comes as a surprise to no one — except of course to all the potential ticket buyers who had no idea the Biblical epic even existed.

Thanks to a lackluster PR campaign — no movie stars, no viral marketing, an astoundingly unmemorable trailer — the remake no one wanted did not win the chariot race at the box office, taking in just $11 million in its debut weekend.

Considering it cost an estimated $100 million in production budget alone, it's safe to say remaking 11-time Oscar winner Ben Hur will go down as one of the worst decisions in cinema history.

But will it make this ignominious list??

Disney & Steven Spielberg Suffered A Rare Box Office Bomb With The BFG — But THESE Films Were The Biggest Flops Of All Time!

no title

Talk about a BIG bomb!

Disney has had hit after hit in 2016, from Zootopia to Captain America: Civil War. Sadly for Steven Spielberg, The BFG ends that hot streak, as the Amblin Entertainment co-production flopped HARD during its debut over the holiday weekend!

The flick, adapted from Roald Dahl's classic children's book, had a budget of around $140 million but ended up only taking in $18.6 million over the three-day Fourth of July weekend and an atrocious $22.3 million total over the four-day holiday period!

While it's only been a few days, there's no doubt that Spielberg's movie is DEFINITELY a huge bomb — but the good news is, it's not NEARLY as bad as some of the biggest flops EVER…

A couple of which did belong to the House of Mouse…
