Blake Lively has admitted that her adventures with the search engine did not end well.

Specifically, the actress spoke to Variety about going into depression after reading some not-so-nice things about herself online.

She said:

"I have [Googled myself] before and it's just ended in full depression."

And added:

"So I think it's a good rule of thumb not to Google yourself because the Internet is not nice."

Yeah, we'd say we agree on that! Especially if you're a female star. The Internet can just be VICIOUS.

Nowadays, we doubt the 29-year-old bothers with search engines, though, as she's got so much going on in her life.

She confessed that her family is both her and husband Ryan Reynolds' top priority, saying:

"For me as a husband, it was my job to do the best I could to support her and understand what she was going through and do whatever I could do to help her. I feel like that's the least I could do."

Gillian Anderson is so bravely opening up about her long battle with depression.

The X-Files star revealed her struggle in her new book We: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere, and has decided to go further in a new interview with The Guardian.

Touching on her own issues with self-esteem, the actress admitted:

"I have struggled with self-esteem myself, and in looking at the ways that I have dealt with overcoming those things, I started to think that maybe some of it might be potentially useful for other people of all ages."

Gillian has been in therapy since the age of 14, and while she didn't go into too much detail in her interview, she did explain how some of her mental health issues really affected her life:

But everyone faces a battle no one knows about — and in the April issue of Glamour, the 31-year-old courageously penned an emotional essay about her "painful," but secret battle with postpartum depression since giving birth to her daughter, Luna, last spring.

Surgeon Jumps To His Death After Split From TV Personality Wife

A top thoracic surgeon committed suicide two weeks after he was divorced from his wife.

According to The Daily Voice, Dr. Robert Ashton (above) jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge at around 8:40 a.m. on Saturday.

The 52-year-old had just split from his wife Dr. Jennifer Ashton, chief women's health correspondent for ABC News.

The pair lived across the street from each other in Fort Lee, New Jersey, which is in the shadow of the bridge. They had two teenage children.

On Sunday, Jennifer shared a heartfelt tribute to her ex in a Facebook post, saying he "helped so many and we will remember his warmth generosity and kindness."

Though she didn't say what drove her ex to suicide, the TV personality said his death should serve
