Disney Has Quietly Removed All Animated Crocodiles & Alligators From Theme Park Following Death Of 2-Year-Old

We still can't believe this tragic story actually happened at the happiest place on earth.

As you're surely aware, 2-year-old Lane Graves was killed by an alligator while wading in the water at Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa two weeks ago.

While the kid-friendly theme park has since added fences, signs, and even a net around the lagoon where Lane was dragged underwater, Disney is now doing even more to make families feel safe.

According to numerous firsthand accounts from fans, the House of Mouse has quietly wiped all traces of their animated alligators and crocodiles from the park.

We already knew that Jungle Cruise operators had removed a croc-inspired joke from the ride, but now we're hearing that characters like Louis from The Princess & The Frog, Tick Tock Croc from Peter Pan, and Brutus and Nero from The Rescuers are nowhere to be seen as well.

This does seem like the decent thing to do, at least while the Graves family is still in mourning.

With that said, we're hearing the real alligators inside Epcot's Living with the Land aren't going anywhere… which doesn't make much sense.

Do U think Disney is going overboard by removing any signs of the reptiles??

Jack Sparrow Is Staying Put — Abuse Claims Against Johnny Depp Don't Have Disney Worried About Pirates Of The Caribbean's Future

We're gonna be seasick.

Johnny Depp is currently wrapped up in the most tumultuous divorce of the year, and once again, his prominent industry peers don't seem to care very much about Amber Heard's disturbing domestic abuse claims.

Disney CEO Bob Iger became the latest Hollywood power player to speak out about the Pirates of the Caribbean actor's personal problems on Wednesday… but he seems almost too lackadaisical about the whole ordeal.

The 65-year-old businessman sat down with The Hollywood Reporter this week to discuss the grand opening of Shanghai Disneyland Park, but when the topic of Jack Sparrow's role in the Pirates ride came up, Bob didn't seem at all bothered by the drama.

In fact, while Bob doesn't necessarily think the public is going to forget about Amber's accusations anytime soon… he's not that worried about their effect on the Pirates brand:

After the body was discovered and the family released a statement, neighbors began to honor the late child with a beautiful tribute on his street.

Well now it's sadly time for the Graves family to pay their respects to their son as they recently announced Lane will be buried on Tuesday. The service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska with both a rosary prayer service and wake being held prior on Sunday night and Monday respectively.

Seeing as how this was such a high profile case, there will be no cameras, cell phones, or other recording devices at the funeral "out of respect for the family."
