Who knew sci-fi lovers were such horn dogs!!
The definite lack of gay sex and bisexuality in George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire book series has been widely discussed, but never answered.
So now, the author is revealing exactly why that's the case — and we have a feeling it's going to make fans even MORE pissy!
While speaking at the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Monday night, George said he faces certain limitations, because he's writing through "viewpoint characters"…
And so far, none of them have been gay.

Game Of Thrones has enthralled millions of TV viewers since its debut, and brought a lot of new readers to the books.
But there's a little snag- the novel series is a LOT slower than the TV show. The most recent installment of A Song Of Ice And Fire took five years to complete, and it's been three years since that one.
The long waits have some fans speculating that author George R.R. Martin won't even survive long enough to finish the planned heptalogy (that's like a trilogy but with 7 books- we totes had to look it up!).
Well, George himself has finally reacted to these morbid naysayers. And it's as harsh (and NSFW) as a Westeros wedding! He says:

No need to wonder, because some creative YouTube genius reimagined the show's intro to be totally tubular!
We've got vintage HBO graphics, a techno theme song, and a whole lotta nostalgia!

After getting burned a few times, viewers are sometimes hesitant to throw their fan muscle behind a new show.
With a book adaptation like Game of Thrones, at least you know the writers have something to follow. But the books aren't over.
But it is known author George R. R. Martin has divulged his secret ending plan to show runners David Benioff and Dan Weiss. So do they think fans will be pleased? David says:
