The craziest difference is that George thought he could tell the epic story in only THREE NOVELS!
Ha! Maybe if the books were each 2500 pages… LOLz!
There were a lot of other big changes too! SPOILER ALERT even for fans — some of these events could still come to pass in future chapters — but here's what was originally going to befall your fave characters:
George R. R. Martin, author of the hit Game Of Thrones book series, obviously LOVES saving wolves. He saves seven in the first chapter of the first book!
But in real life he's saving wolves too! Not to mention dingos and coyotes!
And to help raise money for the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary and Food Depot, George is now offering the greatest prize of all- he'll KILL YOU! In a Game Of Thrones book that is! Just like [SPOILER REDACTED]!
Wouldn't you love for your literary (and later TV) death to impact fans around the world?? It'll just cost you a few (thousand) dollars to charity!
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) and go to George's Prizeo page to see all the other glittering prizes that can be yours!
The best-selling Game Of Thrones book series has became a smash hit HBO show, thanks to great adaptation
Usually as show runner, David Benioff is rewriting author George R. R. Martin, but this time it's George doing the correcting!
David mistakenly said viewers could see the writer onscreen this season, but George says it's not gonna happen!
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see the father of the fantasy series explain why he will NOT be doing a cameo in the upcoming Season 3- and why if he ever does another cameo, he has to be sitting down!
Look, just as long as George doesn't hurt himself sitting on that sword chair! We need him to write the rest of those books already!
And by the looks of the latest teaser trailer for the upcoming third season of HBO's big-budget adaptation of the George R. R. Martin medieval fantasy novels, it's not just vengeance, dragons, and winter coming to Westeros and Essos!
It's a whole lot of WAR!
Ch-ch-check out footage of Daenerys, played by Emilia Clarke, UNLEASHING her army of Unsullied for an attack on the city of Astapor (above)!
