Superhero Showdown! Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson & Kevin Hart Wage War On All The 'Marvel B*tches' At The 2016 MTV Movie Awards!

Was that a little awkward for anyone else, or was that just us?

During Sunday's broadcast of the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, the ceremony's hosts Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart decided to call out all the Marvel actors in attendance.

It seems as though Batman and Superman put their differences aside, since the funny guys dressed up as the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel to throw some shade at Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, and Samuel L. Jackson!

We aren't surprised that the comedian and the Baywatch star sided with D.C. Comics on this one, considering the award show was shot on the Warner Brothers lot!

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson & Kevin Hart F-Bomb The F*ck Out Of The MTV Movie Awards! Watch Their Insane Mad Max-Inspired Opening!

Like a potential boyfriend, the MTV Movie Awards are only as good as their Hart and their Johnson!

Kevin Hart and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took the stage to host the year's silliest award show, and they did so in post-apocalyptic style!

The Central Intelligence stars came to the stage dressed like Mad Max: Fury Road characters and exploded real fireworks!

They then went with a lot of figurative bombs — F-bombs that is — as they joked about Hulk Hogan's sex tape, movies, and each other!

But Ari isn't the only femme fatale set to play during the ceremony, because New Americana singer Halsey is also set to sing her new song Castle — which you may recognize from those The Huntsman: Winter's War commercials!

Kendrick Lamar will also join the star-studded lineup to present the True Story award during the broadcast, although he will not be performing anything, unfortunately.

With can't miss performances and Central Intelligence stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart co-hosting, the 2016 Movie Awards is shaping up to be quite the event!

We can't wait to see who takes home the Golden Popcorn when the show airs Sunday, April 10 at 8 p.m. EST on MTV!
