If Westeros were run under a democracy, Game Of Thrones would be a lot less entertaining to watch…
With that said, fans were still given chance to play pretend when they elected Jon Snow as ruler of the GOT Party in a promotional election for the digital release of Season 6!
Throughout August, over 1.5 million fans voted between four nominees, each having their own platforms and even some attack ads — but it was the King in the North and his running mate Lyanna Mormont who edged out the competition!

With 35 percent of the vote, the northern ticket beat Daenerys Targaryen and her running mate Tyrion Lannister with 32 percent, Littlefinger and Sansa Stark with 31 percent, and Cersei Lannister and Qyburn with a dismal 2 percent. (We guess that wildfire fiasco didn't track well with voters…)
To celebrate Snow's victory, the rock band Valyrian Steel — AKA Kyle Gass, John Konesky, and John Spiker of the comedy act Tenacious D — dropped the flute-powered track Ode to Jon Snow.
